This is about a hallyu star  (Sungmin) who wants freedom from all the stress brought by limelight and his strict mother/manager. His sister (IU) who dreams to be a singer yet her talent is pushed aside. He decided to runaway to Japan and disguised himself as Park Jae Shin and he later meets Suzy. She has three  brothers (Kangin, Shindong and Heechul) who raised her because their parents died when she was just seven. Sungmin will find true love in the Land of the Rising Sun away from the life where he used to be.

                She is a normal college student who is raised by her brothers when their parents passed away when she was just seven. They own a family restaurant that is managed by his three brothers. She’s very mature unlike other teenagers of her age who gets hooked up to idols.

She is Sungmin's sister. She dreams to be a singer but their mother always insults her and doesn't believe in her capacities. She has a very sweet, loving and fragile personality.

Kim Young Woon/Kangin (27), Kim Shindong (25), Kim Heechul (22)

Kangin is the eldest brother and manages their family restaurant, he is short tempered but hilarious. Shindong is the pure hearted and funny brother , he cooks for the restaurant and Heechul is the ambitious brother, he's in a band and wants to be a professional singer, he also helps in the restaurant ssometimes.

Lee Donghae (19), Sulli (18), and Kim Ryeowook (18)

Lee Donghae is Suzy's childhood friend and is secretly in love with her, Sulli is Suzy's bestfriend at the university, she likes Donghae and Ryeowook is Suzy's cousin and classmate as well.

Henry (22)

Henry is Sungmin's bestfriend who is a member of the famous boy band Super Junior. He knows all about the plan of Sungmin and Ji-eun.

Kyuhyun (24)

He is Sungmin's rival in the entertainment industry and take part in Sungmin and Suzy's love story.

Shin Se-Kyung (19)

she is Sungmin's ex-girlfriend, a singer model and actress.
