Victoria started crying in Hae's warm embrace.

Hyuk just stood there, watching the intimate scene and struggling with himself.

Kyu's arm wrapped around the fire handler's shoulder and he whispered 'Don't jump to conclusions just yet.'

'Hey, stop crying! I know I'm not him but I have his memories!' Hae said softly.

'I'm so sorry.' Victoria said while she held Hae tight. Her eyes went to the unconscious Zhoumi and she was startled. 'W-What happened to Zhoumi?'

'The poor guy was exhausted, we made him rest.' Siwon said.

Victoria realised her room was filled with people and she scanned their faces. Some she knew, a lot she didn't. She was half way through when Hae tugged on her sleeve.

'Tori, this is the love of my life, Hyukkie!' Hae exclaimed as he pulled a rigid Hyuk closer.

'Hyukkie, this is Tori, we used to be close friends.' Hae continued.

Hyuk had to force himself not to burst out in a sobbing session. He was so damn relieved. Friends, he could handle Hae's friendships.

Hyuk bowed 90 degrees. 'Hi, princess, I'm Lee Hyukjae, the current fire handler.'

Fury appeared in Victoria's eyes. She lashed out and slapped the boy hard.

'Why did you do that?' Hae shouted as he softly checked out the upcoming swelling on Hyuk's cheek.

'He, he, he killed you!' Victoria screamed.

'Tori, that's all in the past, I guess you have been out of it for a while now.' Hae said, still standing protectively between Victoria and Hyuk.

'It's okay, Hae, I understand.' Hyuk said. 'Miss, I mean, princess...Hae and I have been through a lot, also in our previous lives. But I can assure you that he has captured my heart and I would do anything for him. Our memories were tampered with and....'

'What?' Victoria said. 'Your memories?'

'Yes, all of our memories were twisted, mostly against Hae.' Kyu said.

Victoria narrowed her eyes. 'You are a hunter.'

'It worked, Tori, we are all united.' Hae said.

New tears appeared in Victoria's eyes. 'You succeeded?'

Hae nodded.

'What about Leeteuk?' Victoria wondered.

'He's beyond reason.' Yesung said. 'He's currently wounded and has retreated.'

Victoria's gaze saddened.

'I do have a question for you, Your Majesty.' Yeye bowed.

The princess nodded.

'Isn't it your specialty to change memories?'

She frowned and then nodded. 'But I didn't alter yours.' Suddenly her eyes widened. 'My baby, where is my baby?'

Heechul noticed the door and something made him explore the adjacent room. It was quite dark and fear crept into every cell of his body. He closed the door behind him, not wanting anyone to follow him.

'Zhoumi, is that you?' A voice sounded.

'No, your friend is currently sleeping.' Heechul whispered, stumbling to the darkest part of the room where the voice came from.

'Who are you?' The voice asked.

Heechul reached for the blinds and tilted them a bit, shedding some light in the room. He turned around and his heart stopped.

The dragon prince was trying to see who was standing so near but the sunlight shining through behind the person made it impossible for him to see the face.

Heechul was trembling as he took in the scene. The man on the bed was tied to it and obviously weakened. The strong muscles he remembered were still there, though fading. Heechul had to force himself to keep breathing as he felt sick to the core.

'Please, I can't see your face.' The man said.

Heechul turned a bit so the light hit his features and he saw the man's reaction. 'Chullie.'

'Guess you aren't human after all, Hannie.'
