 Characters: Nicole (KARA) & Sungyeol (INFINITE) ft. KARA 

           The staff running around and loud yells being heard from down the hall way, MCountdown Studio filled the air with a busy atmosphere. KARA had just come out with their new song, Pandora. The KARA members were finished dressing but had to wait for an hour for the actual recording to start. So the 4 members decided to sleep while they waited, leaving Nicole alone with no one to play with. So she decided to just look around to pass the time. Walking down the hall ways, she passed many staff members and other waiting room doors. Since she knew some of them, Nicole would always happily greet them and have a quick conversation before she started to wonder off again.

       “Cole!” a familiar voice greeted her.

       She turned around with the widest smile ever, “Yeolie!~”

The two hugged each other, after not seeing each other for a few months. They released each other from their tight hug as they studied each other. Sungyeol still had his same hair from their The Chaser Comeback and it looked like he was building some more muscle. Nicole changed her chocolate brown hair into blonde and she was thinner than before, because of her nonstop diet.

       “Aigoo,” Sungyeol pinched her cheeks. “How’s my girlfriend doing?”

Sungyeol and Nicole have been dating for a year already, ever since Sungyeol confessed to her. At first they were just friends of the same age because of their rushed collaboration during the K-pop Japan concert. But during that time, Nicole was paired with Myungsoo. The two wanted to be paired up with each other but the choreographer had a different idea in mind. Their choreographer thought that Myungsoo and Nicole looked pretty good with each other so that was how it was set. From this very day, Sungyeol remembered what happened very well. But for the two of them, they knew that they looked perfect for each other no matter what anyone else’s says. But they hardly ever see each other because of their busy schedule especially with promotions in Japan and Korea. At first Nicole was unsure with accepting their relationship. She didn’t like the idea of having a big heart broken memory with her first boyfriend; it just wasn’t in her To Do list. Especially getting death threats from Sungyeol’s fans didn’t make her too thrill.

       She removed his hands from her cheeks and pouted, “Shh, be quiet. But I’m doing fine and I heard you are going to come back soon. Too bad I won’t be promoting then.”

No one knows that the two are dating, not even their members know. They wanted to keep it a secret so it won’t be so awkward if the two broke up for their own teammates. Also, they knew the company and members would probably not like the idea of dating each other. Hara was already dating Junhyung which was enough for DSP to handle, especially with the press and neitizens.

       “I know right? You won’t be able to see my new y look in person,” Sungyeol joked.

       Nicole cracked a smile, “I know, I guess I’ll just watch on TV or online then. Anyways what are you doing here?”

       “I was hanging out with Tasty,” Sungyeol pointed to the waiting room that had Tasty pasted on the front door.

       Nicole gaped with an ‘oh’, “How come you didn’t tell me you’re coming?”

       “I wanted to surprise you,” He winked at her, but received a light punch in the stomach.

His stomach was harder than before, making Nicole slightly surprised. Working out for his comeback I see Nicole thought to herself.

       She puffed out her cheeks, “By the way did you watch our MV?”

       “Actually I did,” Sungyeol bit his lip, “I need to talk to you about something.”

       “Chincha?” Nicole’s eye brows rose up, “What is it?”

       “Come with me.”

Sungyeol grabbed Nicole’s arm and dragged her to the stair cases, where no one ever goes too. Shutting the door behind him, there was now more privacy for the two of them. Nicole looked at him with a puzzled face while Sungyeol stood in front of her with a quite serious face. She knew when he was joking and when he’s really serious, and at this time he was quite serious.

       “What’s wrong?” Nicole asked worriedly.

He pulled her closer towards him with his arms around her petite waist. Nicole was of course surprised by his action, which made her eyes widened.

       Sungyeol just smirked, “Showing other men your back without my permission I see? I’m ok with you showing your legs but back, really?!”

       “W-what am I supposed to do then? It wasn’t my choice,” Nicole stuttered as her cheeks turned bright red.

       “How about showing your boyfriend your first then you could show to others? You have no clue how much I wanted to punch Dongwoo and Sunggyu for drooling over you!” Sungyeol pulled Nicole closer.

Nicole couldn’t help but laugh at his jealousy. It was just too cute.

       He pouted cutely, “This isn’t the time to laugh!”

       “Mian,” Nicole swallowed her laugher, “it’s just that you were too cute.”

 Cute. A word Sungyeol didn’t really like hearing from his girlfriend now a days. He’s been working out not just for the comeback but for his own girlfriend to say he was different from cute, manly. At first he liked it when Nicole told him he was cute and handsome but now, the two words just got worn out. Sungyeol really wanted to look like someone that Nicole knows will protect her no matter what, physical or mental attacks, he will always be there for her. He really wanted to hear the word manly from Nicole’s mouth.

He pressed his lips against hers, making her even more surprised. Sungyeol wasn’t the type of person who would forcibly do something, he was more of a cautious type and tried to find the right moment to do or say something. Nicole closed her eyes as she let him do what he was doing. Leaving her lips, he went for her right ear and started to trail down her bare neck with kisses. Nicole bit her lip, trying not to make a sound. Sungyeol smirked through the kisses and started to raise his hand on her , making Nicole shocked.

       “Yeah!” Nicole screamed, taking a step back while she blushed.

Sungyeol couldn’t help but laugh at her innocent reaction, but next time he won’t let her off so easily.

       “Mian mian,” Sungyeol smiled as he gave her a warm hug and a kiss on her forehead.

Still blushing, Nicole smiled as she leaned her head on his wide chest.

       “I still need to tell you about something,” Sungyeol looked at her with his arm still around her waist.

       “Bwoh?” Nicole waited for him to answer.

       He grinned, “Every time you show your back, is the number of times I will punish you.”

Nicole’s eyes widened in total bewilderment as Sungyeol innocently smiled as if nothing was wrong with what he said.

       “When did you have so much courage?” Nicole asked him. “Is the muscle growing getting to you?”

So she noticed Sungyeol thought to himself happily. Shaking his head, he continued to look deeply in her black pearly eyes.

       He leaned towards her right ear and whispered, “Remember I am your man.”

Causing chills up her spine, Nicole couldn’t help but blush madly. Opening , she was about to say something but the voices and yells from her members looking for her in the hallway was heard. Biting her lip, she looked at him.

       “You better get going. Good luck,” Sungyeol winked at her, ending it with a charming smile.

He pulled the stairway door open and entered the hallway, leaving Nicole following behind him. Seeing her members running towards her, she tried to cover her blushing face.

       “Cole-ah,” Gyuri furrowed her eyebrows, “we were looking all over for you.”

       Nicole gave an apologetic smile, “Mian, I was doing something.”

       “Never mind that, we have to get going. We’re going on in a few minutes,” Seungyeon pulled Nicole’s arm and started to drag her along with her.

Gyuri followed behind them as they ran in the hallway, passing or dodging the staff that was walking by. Reaching the other members, the staff quickly placed Nicole’s microphone while the other members began to warm up.

       “Unnie,” Jiyoung poked as Nicole was adjusting the mic, “Sungyeol-shi is here, did you know?”

       Smiling at her dongseong, she nodded, “Yeah, he was hanging out with Tasty.”

       “Ah, I see,” Hara butted in the conversation. “I thought you ran off to go talk to him, that’s why we couldn’t find you.”

       “What are you talking about? We are just friends,” Nicole nervously answered, worried the two were caught.

       Hara giggled, “Arraso, I was just teasing you.”

The staff finally finished putting the mic on Nicole and everything was set to go. Locking their hands together, KARA did their normal ritual and they soon began to walk on stage. After greeting everyone and introducing themselves first, their performance finally began. Dancing and singing, Nicole continued and soon the part Sungyeol have been warning her about came. Turning her back towards the crowd, she took off her jacket so did her other members. Using her one foot that was planted onto the ground, she turned and from the corner of her eye, she saw Sungyeol standing in the crowd. The serious face on his face, Nicole lifted up her jacket back onto her shoulder which the other members did also. Still focusing on her performance, Nicole knew that both of them were thinking of the same thing.

       “One now, many more to go.”
