~Letting Go of the Heaviness~ "Ano, sumimasen...hello?" Sakura called out cautiously. She peeked into the apartment, not seeing any signs of movement. "Ahmm, your door is wide open...someone?" Sakura grimanced and looked down the empty hallway. No one was around, but then again it was midnight, who'd be up? Aside from herself, she had a good reason for being up so late. She was moving into the apartment next door when she noticed the door right beside hers was open. She took it upon herself to make sure the person closed the door, who knows could come at night. Sakura gulped and decided to go in. She crept quietly on the floor, taking off the shoes ofcourse and headed into the living room. 'Oh shizzle! I hope they don't get mad,' she looked around trying to find something but was also amazed at the interior. 'Sugoi! Its so cool in here.' Unconsciously she moved inwards to a coffee table in the middle of the room. She saw the glint of keys on the top. 'Score! I can lock the door then slip the keys under the door. Genius.' She giggled quietly to herself and gently took the keys from the table. She turned to walk back but was startled to see a man on the couch. She squeaked and jumped back. But then she realized he was asleep. 'Phew,' age breathed out and moved closer to examine his face. He was really handsome from what she could tell, about her age too. The man shivered in his sleep as a few tears fell. Sakura panicked, she wasn't sure what to do! She quickly grabbed a throw from the other couch and put it around the man. She then proceeded to wipe away his tears with her thumb. "Ssh, its okay...no need to cry now." she whispered, remembering how her father used to calm her down when she cried. The man stopped but still whimpered. "...why...Nana-chan...why'd you go...?" he surprised Sakura yet again by resting his cheek against her hand. Sakura frowned softly, moving his bangs from his forehead. She shook her head and looked back at the coffee table. 'I need to leave a note...'The next morning Koyama woke up feeling like he had a hangover, but at the same time felt as if a small portion was taken off his heart. He stretched and the throw fell off. He blinked. 'I don't remember putting that on.' He sat back down and stared at the coffee table and sighed. He still wasn't feeling well, Nana leaving her keys...where were the keys?! His eyes went across the table trying to find where he last left them. They landed on a little note on the edge. He picked it up, confused. 'Ano, hi there. I was passing by when I saw your door open. I came in to tell you buy you were asleep. Sorry for intruding! I borrowed your keys to lock the door, but don't worry! I'm sliding them back under the door. Sorry again for the inconvenience.-Saku.' Koyama raised an eyebrow, making his way to the door. True to her word, the keys were on the floor by the door. This actually made him grin. Who went out of their way these days? He unlocked his door and opened it to reveal a woman. Her fist was raised. "Wow! I didn't think I'd wake up to be attacked." he joked. The girl jumped back, waving her arms. "Oh! No! That's not it, i-i was just going to knock and-" Koyama chuckled, interupting her rant. "I was kidding, miss. How can I help you?" the girl calmed down and bowed. "Well, you see...I was just going to check up on you. I left a note on your coffee table but I didn't know if you saw it or not." Koyama waved the piece of paper in his hands. "I saw it alright." Sakura glanced down. "I'm Sakura, just moved in last night." she motioned to the door to the left. Koyama chuckled. "Koyama Keiichiro, pleasure. Say, let's go for coffee." --- "Ano, you seem quiet." Sakura said looking up from fidgeting with her cup. Koyama wasn't doing any better, he just stared at his full and cold up of Joe. Koyama just smiled. "What are you talking about? I'm just shy, we did just meet." Sakura smiled at his attempt at lying. She wasn't buying it. "I'll let you on a little secret, the reason I moved to Tokyo." she let go of her cup and looked directly at him. "My boyfriend upped and left me one day for a co-worker of his." Koyama openly displayed his surprise. "Oh! I'm so-" Sakura raised a hand to stop him. "I'm not done. I let him go, decided I should move on too. From the beginning I could tell what was going on. And same goes now. You're not telling the truth." She watched his reaction carefully. He frowned. "I don't think its your business." he said politely as he could. Sakura sighed and shook her head. "I'm...just saying. Better to let it all out at once. You'll feel much better. I had my best friend to comfort me which led me here." she smiled genuinely at Koyama. "You should too." Koyama let the words sink in slowly but eventually poured out all his emotions. It was like the rest of the heavy load on his heart was going away. He could feel himself regain back his courage and strength. Koyama was getting back in the game. He reached out to Sakura's hand which was on the table, carefully placing his over hers. Sakura blushed lightly but didn't move away. "Sakura-chan," he said with a charming smile. "I...feel so much lighter." his fingers intertwined with Sakura's fingers. Bringing them closer to his lips. He brushed his lips over her knuckles gently. "Thank you." Sakura smiled and dipped her head. "I was glad to help."
