Charm knocked on the door before entering " how are you doing today?"

Ron who was sitting in the bed and reading the newspaper looked up " oh hey, Zhi wah djeh. I'm fine, the doctor told me I can soon dicharge and just come back for check up"

" that's great to hear, have he said something about your hand?" Charm asked with curiosity

Ron shook his head " nope, he said  he can't  judge what side effect it will be until we remove the plaster"

Charm nodded in understanding " well don't think to much and just rest. I will leave now, just wanted to see how you where doing. Tell me when you can leave the hospital and I come and pick you up"

"zhi wah djeh" Ron called out and Charm turned around " is everything okey with you? You look really tired, is it because of your workload have increased?"

Charm let out a light smile " It have nothing to do with the workload I didn't sleep to well last night, don't worry. If I said I can handle it I can. Now rest and don't think of anything else except to rest and recover"

Charm walked in to Dr Lai's room " how bad is his arm?"

" to be honest Ms Sheh, it doesn't look good at all. If he recover fast it will take him about a half year to gain back mobility but it will not be back like what it was" Dr Lai explained

Charm nodded " I understand, I hope you can wait with telling him about this. Still his condition isn't stable yet and I don't want anything to affect him"

" I can do that, I don't want my patient to be negatively affected either" Dr Lai answered

Charm let out a light smile " thanks Dr Lai"

13:30 KLC top floor  

 

Jade have been waiting for Charmaines to show up in her office for more than five hours and still she haven't seen any sign of her. She knew that Charm will be staying in floor 5 this couple of days since this will prevent her to see her and she knows very well that she have no reason for visiting that floor. But just in case Charm will be showing up for some reason, she can catch her and talk to her.

Cyndia walked by and saw Jade " yii, Jade why are you here? Ms Sheh told me she will be at floor 5 this couple of days and that you where off"

Jade looked up " oh, Hi Cyndia. Yeah I know I just came back to take some files" she lied.

Cyndia nodded " you are indeed ambitious, even if you are on holiday you still think of work. No wonder Ms Sheh hired you as her personal assistant"

Jade just let out a light smile

18:50 A.C law firm

A knock on the door interrupted Kevin's reading " oh hey, something you want me to do?" he asked

Ada pointed at her watch "I didn't know that I hired a workaholic"

Kevin laugh at her remark "how can I not be, when I got a boss like you" Ada looked at him with wide eyes and he continued " I can't allow you to always be the one working to the latest and coming in earliest, what if you take that as a reason to fire me"

"so lawyer Cheng doesn't have confidence in yourself. I will remark that, it will be a good reason for me to fire you" Ada joked

Kev shook his head " well well well, when it comes to you I don't have a chance. how can I not have bad confidence in your presence"

"okej, enough lah. If we keep on I will starve to death" Ada complained before turning around and headed towards the elevator

Kev smiled at her childness and close his file before following after
