10:30am Kawloon East police station

Bosco stood outside CIP Chan's office and took a deep breath before knocking on the door and entered "Good morning Chan sir, probation inspector Bosco Wong here" Bosco said loud and clear

Chan sir looked up at him with anger " the first thing when I came in today was to receive this file" and showed it for Bosco " what have you to say?"

"I have nothing to say, I agree that I was too hasty last night. So I will accept all kind of decree" said Bosco

" good, as this is the first time I will just give you a warning if this ever happens again I will register it and it might complicate your probation in the future" said Chan sir

"thank you sir" said Bosco

"you may leave now" said Chan

"yes, sir!" Bosco said and saluted

11:40am

Bosco came back from Chan sir and ordered " we will have a meeting in ten minutes, no one are allowed to go out for lunch. Catherine order some take away, Alex take out both Cheng Longs and Choi Longs files, Felix collect all the information from last night and Selena report what have happen on Tav's side " and slammed the office door after him

Selena who was seating next to the door jumped up in fair " My god, do anyone know what have happen to him? " she asked worried

Felix came over tip toed " last night Ma sir took action on one of Cheng Long's underground factory and there where some fight between the two so Wong sir was called in today"

Alex came over to the them and asked " how come you know all this? Are you sleeping under his bed?"

Felix hit Alex on the arm " it was someone who leaked out information about the hide out and it was me who called Wong sir last night to tell him, but I was already too late because Ma sir was already in action"

They all nodded and said in sync " oh"

In the same time Bosco came out from his room "what are you doing! I said a meeting now and you all are standing here. Catherine have you order anything yet? Felix have you gather all the information? Alex have you take the files? Selena are you ready to report?" he said with a firm voice

"Sorry sir we will do it right away" they all said loud and clear and went on their separate task

Inside the conference room

"So can you tell me Felix how come you knew about the underground factory? Did you find how Ma sir get the information?" Bosco asked

"Wong sir I was here till late at night and we actually get this information facsimiled to us, I think that Ma sir get the information in the same way" said Felix and handed over the facsimile

Bosco read it and looked up it was a machine typed text no sender " why would Ma sir be so sure that this was right and not just something set up by someone or even a joke. Did you check where it was send from?"

Felix nodded and answered " yes I looked it up this morning the fax came from an Internet cafe that are open 24/7 the computer technique group have been there but the fax was set to be send in particular time so they have no idea who could have send it"

Bosco nodded and turned his attention to Selena " something different on her side?"

" not really but something happen last night on the bar so Tav didn't went home to sleep. I have take contact with her she said she is fine" Selena reported

12:00pm One night bar

Ron woke up and used his palm to lightly hit his forehead which was in a heavily headache after last night consummation of cognac

"hey stop hitting yourself it won't help" said Tav when approaching him from the washroom

Ron sat up and rested his head in his hand " I thought I told you to leave last night, why are you still here?"

Tav took his other hand that was free and put the hot towel in it " well I couldn't just leave you at that state, if it wasn't me you wouldn't be like this so I stayed and took care of you"

Ron places the hot towel on his forehead and laid back to rest " You didn't needed to I'm already used to this kind of living but thanks" Ron said with a smile on his face

Tav looked at him " I should be the one who says thanks, rest for awhile I will buy you something to eat" said Tav and walked out from the bar

13:15pm

Tav came back with two bags one with congee and the other one with medication pills but was surprised that Ron wasn't resting on the couch " where can he be?" she mumbled at the same time the office door from upstairs open and Charm came out she turned around and looked at Ron who was coming out after her " rest for awhile now and don't drink that much it's not healthy, next time be more careful and don't make the same mistake" and turned her attention to the stairs and saw Tav " oh you are early today" said Charm when she came down

" zhi wah djeh" Tav greeted and looked at Ron

Charm nodded and lend back and whispered to Ron " you guys are moving fast" which Tav couldn't hear " I better get going now, take your time" and walked towards Tav and patted her on the shoulder and lend closer to say into her ear " don't let him drink that much next time, take good care of him now" winked and leaved.

2008-08-16 01:30 abandoned house

When Tav arrived Bosco was already inside and waited " I heard from Selena that you didn't went home yesterday, what happen?" Bosco asked when he turned around

Tav walked up to him to see his expression and with a sweet smile she said " where you worried about me? I stayed over at one night bar because Ron was drunk."

" of course I'm worried about you, you are dealing with Choi Long all the time and I don't know what that Ron can do to you" said Bosco

Tav his arm and looked into his eyes " what's the matter with you today? have something happen at work?"

Bosco get out a sigh " no, I'm fine.. or I'm not Ma sir took action last night towards Cheng Long the only one I can think of that would provide us the information can only be Choi Long. The others have been watching Sheh zhi wah and the others and are sure nothing unusual was seen so the only man who are left is Ron who can have provide us with this information. Are you sure that Ron didn't leave the bar last night"

Tav nodded in understanding " No wonder you are in a bad mood, I'm positive that Ron was on the bar the whole night. So I don't think it's him also you can't just judge this happen because of Choi Long provide us with the information. We know that they don't like to use the police force to solve their problems"

" so you didn't see Ron get contact with anyone or leaved the bar for one second?" Bosco asked for confirmation again

"No he didn't leave the bar, the only one that have been there was Sheh zhi wah but that was more than a month ago. Can you just trust me that this have nothing to do with Ron" Tav said in frustration

"  I was just asking so you can think twice if something special have happen that you may have forgot to report to us. Why are you so defending? " Bosco bark back

" I'm so defending because you are so suspicious about him, you had preconception about him in the first I just don't want you to be so subjective and be more objective" said Tav 

" So now you think it's me who are involving personal feelings in this? " said Bosco

Tav looked at him with unbelievable " don't tell me it's me who are involving personal feelings here. You called me over just  because you want to make sure that I was by his side all day and from the start you had already made your mind that it was him who gave you the information"

" yeah I can admit that I have made my mind but you can't blame me on that, Ron have been so close to Sheh zhi wah this couple of month and get more and more trusted by her so there are a reason why I think it might be him who have done this to clear the way for her" said Bosco

" well if you suspect him that much and want to know why don't you tell the others to follow him like what you have order to the others to do with the rest." said Tav still frustrated

" because I believe in you, I believe that you can get the information we need so that's why I haven't made any orders for the others to follow him" said Bosco and looked into Tav eye's

Tav's face softer when she heard what he said " I'm sorry that I blow up like that, I didn't mean to be so upset just that you gave me the feeling that you didn't trust me" explained Tav

Bosco smiled and said with a soft voice " I shall also apologise for my attitude maybe I'm still upset about Ma sir, I was called in today because of that"

Tav looked at him with worried " is it serious? you aren't the one that will get out of temper like that, something bothering you?"

Bosco hugged her and said into her ear " you know exactly what's bothering me don't you"
