Lee Jin Ae (You) / 24: Her father left her and her grandfather with a huge debt. Her father abandon her when she was only ten years old, and her mother passed away when she was six. Jin Ae is hard working, bubbly and cheerful. She's also really smart and cares for the people she loves the most. She hates seeing the people around her suffer.

Wu Kris / 28: Kris' is the only heir of Wu Fan Company. Kris is known for being cold, rude, and heartless. But deep inside he cares a lot for the people who are close to him. Kris has always been spoiled, and does whatever he likes. He asked Se Ra to marry him but got rejected. He decided to go through with marrying Jin Ae in order for Se Ra to regret her decision.

Choi Se Ra / 28: Her father is the Vice President of the Wu Fan Company. She rejected Kris because she didn't want to form a family with him. She's manipulative like her father, and will do anything to ruin Kris' life. She likes being the center of attention, and only cares about her social statues.

Park Chan Yeol / 25: Childhood friend of Jin Ae, and secretly likes her. He's caring, funny, adorable, and a gentleman. He starts to hate Kris as soon as he walks into Jin Ae's life. Hates seeing her sad, and is always cheering her up. He holds a dark secret that not even Jin Ae knows about. Doesn't want Jin Ae to be involved with Kris.
