Just a simple answer the man could uttered for now as his heart was brooding in nervousness. Today was their 1st anniversary; the day where both of them had professed their mutual feelings toward each other and the man was determined to propose his beloved on this very special day.

Yunho started driving off once the traffic light on his side showed the authority to move. He smiled while stealing a glance towards his girlfriend’s cute-sulking face. But soon as his eyes turned back on the road, the smile on his face deadened instantly. A gasp of surprised escaped from his lips as something unexpected came up - a car seemed in a full speed was heading toward him. “Mom, how many times do I need to repeat my answer? I won’t take over the company!” The dark-blonde haired guy shouted out his frustration towards his mother who had kept begging him to do something he wasn’t fond of. It had been like that since the past year after he graduated with a major in business; which also he was forced to study even it was not something he interested in.

Now, he had enough for being such obedient. No one could blame him now for became a real rebellious and irresponsible son of a rich and high-regarded family. He just kept having fun out there with his friends that fond to take an advantage of him, without any planning or purpose for his future. There was no 'sorry' and 'regret' in his life dictionary. Day by day, he had spending all the money which his parents had worked hard for years to gain like running water into a drain.

“Kim Jaejoong! Where are you going now?! I haven't finished talking with you!”
He ignored his mother’s outburst as he kept packing up his clothes into a duffle bag, before heading toward the main entrance of the big mansion. What he knew, he have to get out of this stifling house and the people who loved to control his life.

“I had enough mom. I’m moving out and going to live by my own from now on.”

“What?!” Replied the mother in disbelief. “You think you can live by your own with your current jobless life?”

Jaejoong walked out to the huge garage, ignoring the rage of his mother by get into his silver Lamborghini. He then started drive off, deafening himself from hearing his mother shouted out his name to comeback.

His face was perpetually frowning as he drove the route without particular direction. He then swiftly turned his car to the highway before pulling out his cellphone. His fingers run on pressing the familiar digits, calling someone who had always been compelled to listen to all of his spoil demands.

Once line connected, “Mr. Kang, please transfer an amount of money which enough to buy a single room apartment into my account. Now.” He ordered the man on the phone, who was in charge of managing his family’s company account.

“Young master, I… I’m sorry. I can’t help you this time.”

“What? Don’t pull a on me right now.” He grunted.

“I’m sorry. I really can’t. Your father has just ordered me to freeze all of your bank accounts and credit cards.”

“!” He cursed and threw his cellphone on the backseat; feel enraged by the sudden rejection he had just gotten for the first time. In response to the burning feeling that tinged his heart, he just speeded up his car at a high limit. He let his mind overtaken by his immature indignation until he lost focus on the road and missed to see the traffic light which had just turned red, signing him to stop. But with the head still consumed by insatiable thought, he just drove and contravened the traffic rule and what came after that was something that had changed his life drastically.

And how unfortunate his life was… he never knew, as it had convicting someone else’s life afterward.

“I… I see nothing, doctor.” The guy uttered once his sight met with only an inky darkness.

“Please calm down…”

As he only heard the infirm words came out from the doctor, the feeling of horror started seeping through the guy’s veins and fear expression overtook his face.

“No! Why I couldn't see anything?! Tell me, why I see nothing!!!”

“I’m sorry Jung Yunho. Your eyes got severe injuries from the car accident…” The doctor finally stated the fact. He then tried to console the man by giving him some encouragement words as the man started to become more hysterical with the news he just heard.

One year later…

The man who dressed smartly in a casual just stood on the edge of the road with a stoic look. With once glance, people would tell he was a perfect man. Just look at how gorgeous he was, had enough to made people did not aware that there was something not impeccable about him despite he was holding a walking stick on his right hand; the only gadget that had helping him to lead his way since a year ago.

Yunho stood frozen on the side of pedestrian lane. He could only depend on his hearing to make his next move. His ears just incessantly raided by the whiff sound of Seoul busy road that was currently had unstoppable cars passing by; not even give him a chance to assume when he could crossing the road.

Suddenly, he felt someone presence near him as the smell of busy road subtly replaced by the mild, sweet scent that he believed belong to a person. The scent at once sending an eccentric feeling which seem able to placate him. He jumped a little when he felt the soft and smooth hand of someone placed on his.

“Let me help you…” An angelic voice of the person greeted his ears.

“Oh, it’s okay… I can still manage to walk by myself.” As always, hated to be a heed of sympathy or being pitied, he refused the other’s offer to help. But something was different this time, as the person was persistent and just held his hand, seemingly didn’t want to let it go. He could feel how warm that soft delicate hand against his skin, as the person led him to cross the pedestrian lane to the opposite sidewalk.

“Here you go...” The other muttered after they successfully crossed the road.

“Thank you.” He said before turned around to have his way.

“Oh, wait! Where do you want to go?”
If he was in his usual willful-ignorance self, he would definitely ignore the other. But today, he just felt different in some way.

“I… I’m heading to the café on the last row of these shops.” He simply answered before resume his walk again, but the other seemed kept following him.

“Oh, what a coincidence. I'm about to heading there too. Let’s walk together.”
Yunho knew there was something wrong in him that day. As for the second time, he didn’t decline the other.

“By the way, my name is Kim Jaejoong. What’s yours?”

“I’m Jung Yunho…”
