You wearily take a step to the side, glancing around for somewhere to run. ‘Please just excuse me for a second, I need to go to the bathroom…’ you tell him, forcing the most natural smile you can produce. ‘You aren’t excused and you may not go to the bathroom,’ says Daehyun forcefully, his mouth smiling but his eyes cold as ice.

You simply gape at him. What now? ‘I’m sorry but in really need to go,’ you whinge, holding up your pants. ‘Then you can go right here, right now,’ he says, his eyes glinting with anger. ‘I beg your pardon?’ you say in shock. Who was this guy? Some kind of ert? ‘Look! It’s Zelo! Come here Zelo!’ you yell, pointing at some random spot over Daehyun’s shoulder.

Daehyun quickly turns around. He actually fell for it! You take advantage of this split second distraction and sprint away. But a second later, you feel a stabbing pain on your back. It was as if you were shot by a gun. ‘You actually think that I would truly fall for the oldest trick in the book?’ you hear Daehyun chuckle. You force yourself to turn around, but you fall to the ground from all the pain. You look up and see him smirking at you with such coldness that you could never believe the ashes were a present.

‘Runaway cats must be caught,’ he says coldly. ‘I think that this cat is caught.’ He blows the tip of his gun like in the movies, still smirking at you. ‘I’ve inject a little gift inside that bullet since you didn’t accept my other one. I hope you enjoy the poison, you are surely to be dead in about, let’s say, 10 seconds…’

Everything inside you crumbles to bits: your hopes, your dreams, and your wishes of revenge. They couldn’t be fulfilled anymore. Regret. That’s all you think about in your last seconds of life. Regret… ‘How are you feeling now, eh? How are you feeling?’ you hear Daehyun whisper into your ear. ‘Regret…’ you whisper back, as those were your last words.
