After seeing more flowers, a pair of arms darted out from behind another curtain of black rubber strips, pulling you through them and into another room. You gasped softly with wide eyes. You heard Tao's chuckle, then silence. The arms were now tightly around your waist, and a head was resting on top of yours.

Automatically, you realized who it was. The strong arms and comforting feeling. "Lay."

"Hm~ No Yixing? No gege?" he teased gently, kissing the top of your head.

"Mm~ nope," you laughed softly before turning around. You were still a tiny bit awkward with Lay, but you really wanted to get past it. Maybe...possibly...even embrace the fact that you were Bonded. After all, he said he could be anything in your life. Even a brother or best friend.

"Whatever you want to call me is fine," he assured with a smile, kissing your cheek. "Now, are you ready for our date?"

"I am. But can you do better than bubble tea and plants that will eat me?" you challenged.

"Tao is a hard act to follow," Lay agreed, pulling back and lacing his fingers through yours. "But...I think I can manage. I have something pretty to show you." He squeezed your hand and led you to another part of the greenhouse.

"You need to be very quiet, okay?" he whispered softly. "And very careful. Go slow, and think gentle thoughts."

Tilting your head curiously, you looked at Lay. "May I ask why?"

"Shhh~" was the only thing Lay said in response, squeezing your waist before leading you past another curtain of black rubber. "Oh wait." Lay stopped and wrapped one arm around your waist, the other covering your eyes.

He led you forward again and kept walking. You were a bit nervous since you couldn't see where you were going, but you trusted Lay. At least you knew he wouldn't let you run into a pole, or anything else. Finally, Lay stopped somewhere. "Ready?"

You nodded, one of your hands resting on top of Lay's. "Yes. I'm ready."

"Three...two...one..." Lay's hand moved. "Open your eyes."

A small smile on your lips, your eyes fluttered open to see another part of the greenhouse. This part was filled with flowers, bushes, trees, and a wide variety of beautiful plants. But the breathaking part wasn't the flowers, but the butterflies flitting about everywhere. They were all different shapes, sizes, colors, and patterns.

"Come on," Lay said gently, keeping an arm around your waist. "Let's go this way." He smiled, leading you down a path, towards a bridge.

"It's so pretty," you said as you were led down the bridge, looking around at the butterflies that continued to float around you.

"I'll lead you to the center of the garden," Lay said gently. "They'll definitely like you. Then you'll be surrounded by butterflies~"

"What makes you so sure they'll like me?" you asked quietly, looking at Lay.

Lay smiled. "Because it's impossible not to like you, mei mei. You're special. Lovable. In any case, you're also gentle and calm and quiet. The butterflies like the serene atmopshere, so they'll definitely go towards you. They might stay away from me though, since I am a natural predator. So I'll watch you for a little bit, okay?"

You nodded and smiled as you reached the main area of the butterfly garden. "Just stay here," Lay whispered softly. He kissed your cheek and squeezed your waist before going to sit on a bench.
