{A/N: I want to make this clear: HAERIN IS NOT A VAMPIRE. o.e I clearly stated how one must become a vampire.

This would have had to happen if Haerin was a vampire: After she was bitten by Luhan, she'd have to drink HIS blood, which everyone kept saying she didn't do. Then after having his blood in her, she would have to die. Then she wouldn't wake up for 36 hours, when she would be reborn as a vampire.

Urgh...I wish you guys would read everything before asking me these questions. -sigh- I'm sorry if I seem mean right now, it just annoyed me.

MOVING ON~ This chapter's kind of short, I'm sorry~ For the record, Chen and Xiumin speak to each other in Korean, since they're both Korean ^^}

You glanced around at your apartment with a kind of nostalgic feeling. You had moved in here three years ago, the landlady understanding your situation and letting you stay there for free in exchange for cleaning up the building.

"Will I be able to move back in?" you asked Kris as you picked up a suitcase.

He looked down at you. "Maybe. If the Hunters don't do anything for a few weeks." Kris shrugged. "We'll just have to play it by ear, I guess."

You nodded, biting your lip and looking around once more. The apartment was tiny. Kris noted that they had bigger bathrooms at EXO-M's house. He felt a little bad for you, but the pity disappeared quickly when he realized you were, in fact, moving in with them.

"Come on," Lay said gently, grabbing your hand.

"Wait!" you tore away from him and ran into your room, grabbing the picture that was taped onto your otherwise bare walls. You stared at the picture for a second before pocketing it and going back to where EXO-M was.

Tao, Xiumin, and Lay were all kind enough to help you carry your luggage, despite how many times you tried to steal it back. There were only three suitcases, after all. It was all you had that you could take. It was a bit depressing, thinking that your whole life fit in three small suitcases.

Lay pat your head when he saw your eyes shine with tears.

"Don't cry," came Tao's soft whisper. "Don't cry."

You nodded, forcing the tears back. "I'm not going to cry."

Lay offered a small smile, flashing his dimples that you loved so much.

The three boys placed your suitcases into the trunk of Kris's Cadillac before everyone climbed in.

"You'll have to sit in the middle," Chen said with an apologetic tone. "Kris ge drives, Xiumin ge gets shotgun. Usually Lay and Luhan ge sit in the middle, and Tao and I sit in the very back. But you can choose who you want to sit by."

"We'll sit by her," said Tao, raising his hand and gesturing towards Lay, who nodded in agreement.

Luhan and Chen shrugged and climbed into the back. You followed Tao into the car, Lay climbing in after you. You were wedged in between the two boys, but the car was wide, so it was okay.

"Lay ge?" you murmured, looking at him.

He smiled at you. "Yes?"

"Do you live forever?"

He chuckled. "It's a bit complicated. If you're turned a vampire, you stay that age and live forever. But if you're like us, and were born this way...we age to an extent."

"What do you mean?"

"We choose what age to stop at," Tao explained. "It's hard to explain exactly how we do that, but we live forever at the age we choose."

"Oh," you muttered, looking down at your lap.

Tao claimed one of your hands, playing with your fingers before lacing his through yours. You looked at him, startled. He just smiled at you.

"Yah!" said Lay when he saw your hands laced together. "Why are you holding mei mei's hand?!" He reached over to pry Tao's hand off of yours, pouting.

"It's okay," you said softly as you felt the warmth leave your hand. "It was comforting."

Lay softened and took your hand himself. "Then I'll hold your ha
