"I'm back!" Suho called as he slowly trudged his way into the condo. A soft sigh escaped his lip as he shruged off his winter coat and kicked his shoes off to the side. It was unusually quiet even though Yi Xing moved in and worried the older one quickly made his way into the living room.

"Yi Xing?" He called, but there still was no answer. A weird and intense anixety fluttered through him and his feat quickly carried him to the spare bedroom- only to find it empty. "Yi Xing!"

Still no answer. A low growl full of fustration slipped passed Suho's lips as he fished into his pocket and dialed Kris' number as he checked all the other rooms in the house.

"Hello?" Kris' voice sounded from the other side of the line.

"Kris? Is Yi Xing still at the resturant?? I came home and he wasn't in the living room or the bathroom or even the bedroom and I don't kn-" started Suho, only to stop mid-sentence the moment he walked into the kitchen.

There, a certain server was perched at the dinning table- asleep with headphones plugged into his ears.

"I assume you found him?" Kris asked with a smile in his voice and Suho let out a huge sight as he gripped onto the nearby counter. He felt like he could collapse just from the anxiety alone.

"Yeah....I'm sorry to have called you like that." Suho mumbled as he walked over to Yi Xing and a small smile found it's way to his lips as soft, cute snores left the taller one's lips.

"It's alright. You know you can call me for anything. By the way, should we really leave this friday for the MT trip?" Kris asked and Suho absentmindely reached over and allowed his fingers to glide effortlessly through the Server's brown locks. Yi Xing stirred slightly, but didn't wake and Suho couldn't help but grin wider.

"Hmm? Why do you ask?"

Suho gently ran his fignertips along the younger one's cheek- marvling at how smooth Yi Xing's skin felt against his fingertips.

"It's your birthday, stupid."

"Oh. Yeah. I kind of forgot. Well, it's not that important anyways. We need this MT bonding trip. With the addition of Tao and Sehun, I think it's the right time to do it. We won't have time next month since it'll get busy and stuff. I have alot planned for next month, so I would rather we do it this weekend. So don't worry about it. " Suho stated and he could've sworn he heard a soft sigh escape the Assistant General Manager's lips.

"Alright. Well, now that you've found Yi Xing, I'm going to hang up now. Get some rest. Good night, Suho."

"Umhmm. Good Night, Kris." Suho mumbled before he quickly hung up.

"Yi Xing. Yi Xing...wake up now. If you're tired, go lay down in bed. You'll wake up with sore muscles if you sleep here." Suho murmured as he softly shook the Server awake and hently pulled the earphones from his ears.

"Hmm....Suho? Oh, you're back...welcome home." Yi Xing mumbled as he rubbed at his eyes. The Server missed the shock expression and the light pink blush that flourished the older one's cheeks, but Suho couldn't help it. It's been a while since someone welcomed him home like that and he couldn't help but feel that taking Yi Xing in was one of the more better choices he's made.

"Thanks. What are you doing out here? If you were sleepy, you should've laid down in your bed."

"I know, but I made us dinner and  I didn't want to eat without you. " Yi Xing stated and Suho's eyes trailed to the other end of the table where a few wrapped dishes were.

"You made dinner?"Suho asked as his eyebrow arched in curiosity.

Yi Xing nodded sleepily before outstreching his hands- groaning as hs back cracked in the process. "Y-Yeah. I'm not a great chef like Kyungsoo or Xiumin, but my food is ediable."

"Oh...I see. Thank you. That was awefully kind of you. Does your back hurt?"

A small smile found it's way to Yi Xing's lips as he heard the concern in the older one's voice. "Yeah. A little. I slipped out on the floor today when I went to take orders. It'll get better soon."

"You want me to massage it for you?" Suho asked, not really waiting for an answer as he yanked the still slightly-dazed Server towards the living room.

"B-But the food!" Yi Xing protested as Suho forced him to sit sideways on the couch.

"We can heat it up in a few minutes. Don't worry. " Suho stated as he quickly began working at the other's back.

Yi Xing's protest died on his lips as he felt the older one's fingers work at his back and he couldn't stop the soft purring of pleasure escape his lips. "T-Thanks, Suho."

"It's no problem. It's the least I could do since you made dinner. Plus, I wanted to ask you something. " Suho stated catiously, feeling the younger one tense under his fingertips.

"Um...S-Sure..."

"I....um...you don't have to tell me if you don't feel like it, but.....the reason your...um..y-your parents...." Suho trailed, his voice coming out in a whisper and without realizing it, his fingers had frozen in place on Yi Xing's shoulder.

Yi Xing understood with just that much and gently, he turned around to face the older one. "Is it because you don't want me here? If i'm a bother,  I don't mind leav-"

"N-No!" blurted Suho, instantly regretting it as Yi Xing fliched back in shock. "I mean...that's not what I was saying. I just....I'm worried about you. You don't seem as cheerful as you used to be ever since it happened."

Much to his shock, Yi Xing simply sighed before reached up to brush the loose strands away from Suho's eyes. " Thank you for worrying about me. I'm not going to sit here and lie and say that I'm alright. I miss them...terribly, but I don't regret what happened. I don't regret it one bit as I've come to accept it. If you want to know why, then I'll tell you because you of all people have the right to know. I just ask that....you don't look at me differently."

Suho hesitated as he met Yi Xing's gaze and he could see the anxiety behind the smile the younger one wore.

He didn't knowY whether he should push Yi Xing to tell him or just let it go altogether. He was worried, but was being worried worth forcing Yi Xing to say something that he wasn't ready to say?

Suho sighed as he reached over and roughly ruffled the younger one's hair. " Don't tell me if you don't want to. Tell me when you feel like you can."

A weak smile flashed across Yi Xing's lips as he nodded. "I-I want to tell you because I feel like I'm lying to you, but....right now it's still difficult-"

"I know. It's alright, Yi Xing. Just...if it gets to hard, don't be afraid to come to me. Alright?" Suho beamed as he gently ran his thumb along the younger one's cheeks.

A soft, petal pink blush flourished the Server's cheeks as he nodded. "Alright. I'm sorry.  I promise, I'll tell you...eventually..."

"Yah! How many times must I tell you don't worry about it?! Geez." Suho playfully growled as he got up from the couch and pulled Yi Xing with him.

Yi Xing settled back into his previous spot at the table and he couldn't help but smile as he watched Suho move around the kitchen to warm up the food and to make the drinks.

"Thank you..." Yi Xing murmured softly and Suho snorted as he placed the food infront of Yi Xing before taking a seat across from the Server.

"What's the whole 'thank you' for? I didn't do anything." Suho stated with a grin.

"It's nothing. Eat up now before the food gets cold again."

They ate the majority of time in a comfortable silence with small talk here and there. Even after protesting, Suho and Yi Xing both ended up doing the dishes- even though Yi Xing pratically begged Suho to let him do it on his own.

"You told me that I could do the chores and pay for groceries...." grumbled Yi Xing as he dried his hands. " Speaking of which, we ran out of ice cream."

"We what?!" Suho practically shouted as his eyes grew exceptionally wide- beating the Sous Chef's eyes by a landslide.

"Yeah. We ran out the other day when we got drunk and ate ice cream- which by the way is a horrible combination. I don't know why I let you talk me into it." teased Yi Xing, earning a playful whack on the arm from the older one.

"Yah! I didn't hear you complaining so much. Plus, you woke up with a huge hangover due to the excessive amount of alchohol, not ice cream. Never blame the ice cream. Well, if we're out, I guess I'll quickly go out and get some before the store closes. I need some today or I'll go crazy. Today was so stressful~" whined Suho as he headed towards the front door to throw on his coat and shoes.

"I'll come with you." Yi Xing suggested as he followed after- throwing on his coat and shoes as well.

"No, it's alright. Say here and rest. You had a long day."

"No, it's okay. I'll go. I'm not that tired. Don't worry." Yi Xing grinned and Suho sighed as he knew that convicing the younger one would be nearly impossble and take too long.

The two quickly left and headed to the nearest store. They walked silently along the sidewalk as the cold winter air hugged around them and a small shiver coursed it's way through the server as his cheeks began to pool blood to keep him warm. Of course Suho didn't miss the shiver and he glanced down at the younger one with concern written in his features.

"Are you that cold?"

Yi Xing shook his head as he forced a small smile. "No...I just....yeah...Yeah, i'm cold. I left my scarf and stuff in the room. I wasn't thinking when I grabbed this coat."

"Ah..come here then." Suho stated as he yanked Yi Xing towards him. Quickly, he ped his own coat and used one side to wrap it around Yi Xing's shoulder as his arm circled around the Server's waist to keep their bodies as close as possible.

The warmth felt great to Yi Xing, but he was almost positive that the heat from his blush had more so to do with the fact that Suho's pratically hugging him rather then the fact that they're sharing a jacket.

"S-Suho!" squeaked Yi Xing as a surprised blush reddened his cheeks even more.

"What?" Suho asked, completely relax and oblivious to the situation.

"T-This looks weird...people will stare." warned Yi Xing as he already noticed a few passerby's obvious stares.

"So? Don't tell me, you're embarassed by me?" Suho gasped, feigning a hurt expression.

"N-no...but they may get the wrong idea..."

A surprised blush covered the older one's cheeks at Yi Xng's words. "S-So...l-let them think what they want to think! hmp!"

Once they reached the store, Suho even refused to let go of Yi Xing as his fingers were tightly wrapped around the Server's wrists. After a couple of minutes, Suho had picked out two cartons of chocolate chip cookies and two tubs of coffee ice cream.

"Do we really need all those sweets?" aruged Yi Xing as they walked up to the cashier.

"Yes, yes indeed we do. I want to make Coffee Ice Cream Cookie Sandwiches tonight. So we need all of this stuff." Suho beamed.

"Oh....if it isn't Yi Xing."

The sudden, but harsh familiar voice startled the younger one and Suho didn't miss the drowning fear that instantly swam across the younger one's features. Suho turned his full attention to the cashier and was surprised to see an older looking male practically glaring at Yi Xing. The older man was slightly tanned, had similar brown locks like Yi Xing, and deep brown eyes. They looked similar, but the differences were there as well.

"A-Aaron...." stuttered Yi Xing and the server seemed to shrink back instantly.

"Go to someone elses cashier." The male ordered through clenched teeth. Yi Xing shakily took a step away, intending to listen to the other's words, but he was quickly stopped by Suho.

"We won't go to another cashier. So please, hurry and check out our items." Suho stated firmly as he pulled Yi Xing too him, refusing to let go of his hold around the other's wrist.

He didn't know what was going on, but he certainly wasn't idiotic enough to not feel the tension in the air between the two. He wasn't going to just stand there why someone talked down to Yi Xing. He'd be damned if he just allowed Yi Xing to cowerdly walk away.

"I refuse."

"Then allow me to see your manager." Suho stated and the cashier's features swam with panic at Suho's words as he hesitated.

"I-It's alright, Suho. We can go to another line." Suggested Yi Xing, but Suho wasn't stupid. He could see the anixety and paleness in the younger one's features.

"No. We will stay right here. I don't know who this cashier thinks he is, but he has no right to speak to us like that."

"I'm that monstrosity's brother." The cashier nearly growled.

Shock was clearly visable on Suho's face as he looked back between Yi Xing and the cashier. He certainly wasn't expecting the guy to be Yi Xing's older brother, but he did notice the vague similarities between the two.

"Half-brothers." Yi Xing corrected.

"Wait....I'm sorry, but did you just call Yi Xing a monstrosity?" Suho breathed, through clenched jaws and Yi Xing began to panic as he watched the older one's hands curl into fits. An angry Suho was just as bad as an angry Kyungsoo- if not, worse.

"Yes. I did. What are you going to do about it?" the cashier growled.

"S-Suho...let's just go. We can go to another store tomorrow."

Suho took a step forward, but Yi Xing was quicker as he quickly yanked Suho away and out the store- leaving behind the coffee flavored ice cream and cookies.

"The nerve of that guy!" hissed Suho the moment the two had gotten back to the condo. "Ugh! I can't believe you're related to someone...someone so rude!"

Yi Xing laughed at Suho's explotion, finding it rather funny as the older one's face heated up due to anger. "It's alright, Suho. Really. "

"No, it's not alright. He called you a monstrosity! A monstrosity," Suho emphasized, throwing his arms up in the air. "A freakin' monstrosity!"

"I know. I heard." Yi Xing laughed, but Suho could sense no humor in the younger one's voice. Suddenly, Suho whirled around and cupped the younger one's face- bringing their foreheads together.

Yi Xing in a sharp breath, shocked by the closeness, and he couldn't help but blankly stare into the older one's eyes.

"You are perfect, Zhang Yi Xing. " Suho suddenly breathed as the younger one's faint smell of vanilla filled his nose and an adoring, prominent blush flourished the Server's features as he quietly stared back into Suho's warm brown orbs. "You are so freakin' perfect, okay! So don't let his words get to you. I don't give a damn if he is your brother. That was just...ugh, so rude... You are kind, gentle, caring, helpful, smart, intuitive, and just....just perfect. He is the monstrosity!"

"Even when I forget orders? And drop the plates? " Yi Xing asked quietly.

"Even then you are perfect!"

Yi Xing was sure that his face was completely flushed as his heart seemed to hammer powerfully against his ribcage. After a couple of minutes collecting himself, a crooked grin- one that sent Suho's heart racing- appeared on the Server's lips. That grin seemed to reach Yi Xing's eyes and after seeing that it was sincere, the anger seemed to fade from the older one.

"Has anyone ever told you how silly you get when you're angry?" Yi Xing teased.

Suho smiled back as he shook his head. " No. I don't believe anyone has."

Yi Xing snorted as he reached up and lightly pulled on Suho's ears. "You're overly silly.... but....I like that side of you. You're perfect, Suho."

Suho smiled, oblivious to the hidden meaning in the Server's sentence, and lightly ruffled the other's hair. "Yah! No matter how silly I may get, I still tell the truth. So, go on and get some rest, okay?"

Yi Xing nodded as he quickly gave Suho a small hug, catching the older one completely off guard before pulling back to smile softly. "Okay. Good Night, Suho. Thank you."

"Don't mention it. Good night, Yi Xing." Suho mumbled, still able to smell the faint aroma of vanilla in the air.

He was beginning to really like that scent.
