Description

I look to wherever you may be when I need your calming,tireless comfort. I look to you when I need solace in the dangers of this vast, vast Earth. I look to you when the incomplete void in my heart is throbbing, waiting for the sight of you.

The smell of you.

The taste of you.

The sound of you.

The love in you.

I look to you and you're not there.

But I still keep my eyes locked upon where you are supposed to be. The warmth is still there.

And that's all I ever wanted in the first place.

Foreword

Imagine losing your only blanket that kept you safe from the bedtime monsters of the world. The blanket that took on 2 roles, being both a piece of fabric, and a temporary figure of tranquility. The blanket that put up with you, dragging it around, wearing it down to just a mere meter of rugged, stained, spoiled fabric, but still eager to comfort you and to keep you safe.

Imagine your life after losing that one shred of hope that you ever were able to lay your hands on.

Imagine being the cause of losing it.

Wow. I can already anticipate all that is to come from only the foreword and description. This story will most definitely be one that keeps readers on the edge of their seats, waiting for the next chapter to come with bated breath. What will happen? How will the loss of the blanket affect the main character? Who will help comfort her/him now? Why was the blanket so important, much more than the other blankets? Why was it the last 'one shred of hope'? How was the main character the cause? As the story progresses, if all these questions are answered, then it would exceed many expectations. <br />

I like how you stated the blanket has taking upon two roles in the main character's life. It emphasizes the importance of it, and the impact left on her/him after it has disappeared. I think this story will be one that leaves a strong impression on me after it finishes, and perhaps be one that will be remembered for quite a long time because some stories are just like that. Of course, after it finishes, I will be disappointed because that means it is the end. But, well, as I always like to say, the end is always the beginning for another. <br />
