When he was not there right next to you, you thought about him. 

When he was not with you, you longed for his touch. 

When he was gone, you wished he would come back to you. 

When he promised that he would come back, you waited for him.

Every single night. You kept on waiting for him. 

 

 

A short fic about a loyal wife, counting days for her beloved husband to come back from war. 

Foreword

I was at my grandparents' house and there was no internet. 

So I decided to kill my time by writing this short story.

I was feeling rather moody, so you probably wouldn't want to read it if you're expecting for a happy story.

But then again, since the only one who would know the ending of the story, who knew if a sad story would ended up with a happy ending. You know how I love twists. ;) Or not. LOLOL

 

p/s : I've been dying to write a JiGuk/YongEun fic. OuO. I love them okay! Don't judge me. OTL

This was lovely. I really enjoyed this and all the sweet moments were absolutely adorable. I love how you're able to portray the love between the two of them without going overboard with sweetness like how YongGook hugs her to sleep when she has nightmares or they dance together. ^ ^ So relieved when YongGook came back. :D JiEun waited for him for so long! ^ ^
