“Hanmi, why won’t you take me with you?” Himchan whined as he trailed after you around the house.

“Kim Himchan!” you exclaimed with exasperation. “You’re starting to get worse than Chanyeol. Do you have no pride?!”

“Don’t waste your breath on him, it won’t get through his thick skull,” Youngjae sighed as he popped out of his room. He grabbed a hold of Himchan’s arm and dragged him down stairs so you could have some freedom.

“Thanks Youngjae!” you called out to the other. You made your way over to Chen’s room and knocked on the door to see if he was ready.

“Hanmi?” Chen called out from the other side of the door.

“Yeah! Are you ready to go?” you asked.

There was a bit of fumbling on the other side of the door, but the door eventually opened to reveal Chen. He was dressed in a shirt that was a bit too tight so it showed off his toned and lean structure, and a pair of maroon colored jeans.

“S-Sorry,” Chen stammered in embarrassment as he awkwardly rubbed the back of his neck. “I had to borrow Yoochun Hyung’s clothes, and they were just a little too small.”

You shook your head and gave him a thumb up. “You look good, Chen! Shall we go?”

A slight blush captured Chen’s cheeks at your words, and he gave you a shy nod before trailing sheepishly behind you.

“Chen and I are leaving now! Be good!” you called out to the other boys as you slipped on your shoes. You regretted your announcement shortly after when a series of pounding footsteps echoed across the house.

“Take me! Take me!” Kisook pouted as he jumped up and down with his arm waved in the air. “Take me, Hanmi Noona! I’ll be good!”

You shuffled his hair with your hand and gave him a bright smile. “We can go out on our own some other time, alright Kisookie?”

Kisook crossed his arms and pouted at your words, but accepted them nonetheless.

“Why about me? Will you go out with me another time, Noona?” Zelo asked with a wide grin.

“Y-Yah! Who do you think you are?!” Kisook shrieked with an outstretched finger pointed at Zelo. “I’m the only one who can call Hanmi Noona!”

Zelo scoffed at the younger and flicked him against the forehead. “Oh yeah? Who says?”

“Yah, you two better stop fighting like children,” you scolded as you smacked them both on the back of their heads. “The rest of you be good, okay?”

You sighed as you stared at the bickering members, but smiled when your eyes met Baekhyun’s who was smiling widely at you. His eyes were crinkled into little half moons as he waved enthusiastically at you. “Have a safe trip Hanmi! You too, Chen.”

“Yeah, take care of the brat for us, Chen,” Kai nodded as he passed by the front room.

“You guys are too noisy, we’re leaving now,” you called out. You caught sight of Chanyeol and Sehun sneaking around from the corner of your eye and added, “And don’t you dare follow us. If I catch any of you, I won’t show you any mercy during training. And believe me, I’ve been holding back.”

Chanyeol and Sehun immediately froze midstep and shot up stairs, out of sight.

You chuckled at their childishness and was about to turn until a hand placed itself on your shoulder. You glanced back to see D.O giving you a friendly wave and a small smile. “I’ll keep an eye on them.”

You gave him a returning wave, and finally departed from the house with Chen at your side.

“Hanmi?” Chen asked quietly as you guys made your way over to the bus stop.

“Hm?”

“Will you… will you tell me where you plan on going today?” Chen asked in a soft voice.

A small smile lifted the ends up your lips and you let out a long sigh. “I guess it’s only fair to tell you where I’m dragging you, right?” you chuckled humourless. You stared up into the clear sky and stretched your arms out. “We’re going to see my oppas' grave.”

Chen stayed silent for a few seconds as he took in what you had said. “Hanmi?” he asked quietly again. “Are you sure I’m the person you want with you for such a personal moment? Wouldn’t you be more comfortable with Baekhyun or Luhan?”

You side glanced at him and gave him a teasing smile. “Why, do you not want to be with me?”

Chen’s eyes doubled in size, and he quickly whipped his head from side to side. “That’s not what I meant! I just… I don’t know, I don’t think I’m exactly your favorite Exo member… I just thought you would want to share this moment with somebody you liked a bit more."

Your jaw dropped open at his words you stared at him with surprise. “YAH, CHEN!”

Chen flinched under your loud tone and glanced nervously over at you. “N-Neh?”

“I don’t have any favorite members of Exo,” you scoffed and flicked him on the forehead. “Each of you guys deliver different qualities that makes you all completely different people. How could I possibly rank you guys when you’re all so different?”

Chen stared at you for a few seconds and then shrugged. “I-I don’t know… it’s easy to favor more members than others, and I’m not exactly a joy to be with.”
