Summary:

1985

EXO was the best University in Seoul. It consists of Korean and Chinese students whom are accepted amidst of the very strict requirements upon entering of the said school. Everything was in harmony. Problems arise of whom was better than the other. Competitions among the 2 races became a hot topic. Soon EXO University was divided into two: EXO-K for Korean students and EXO-M for Mandarin/Chinese students. A tall and thick wall was built as a boundary between the two schools;

"Whoever tries to go beyond the boundary will be expelled."

Present

Choi Haneul transferred to EXO-K University because of her father's work. Upon entering the school, she had a hard time trying to fit in within the class because of her timid behavior. Because of the transferring of schools for about 10x, she never had a chance to make any friends all-throughout her childhood.

On her first day, Sehun, the school's student council president, gave her a tour around the school. He warned her not to go to that certain place because it's forbidden to do so. Haneul, on the other hand, looked for that forbidden place and slowly, her life starts to become colorful upon meeting a certain person.
