After mawala na ang mga kundisyones ni Kim ibang Gerald na ang nakikita, nawala na ang pagiging bugnutin, masayahin na at madalas na visible na silang nakikita. Professional pa rin sila sa office, walang sobrang public display of affection, tama na yung sabay silang dumarating at uuwi kung maari, and sa lunch naman either aakyat si Kim sa office ni Gerald or sa cafeteria sila kakain together with Mel and Erich. Ang sleep over naman every weekends lang and madalas sa pad ni Gerald or mag out of town sila. Kim is still attending her design class and pag weekdays na hindi niya kasama si Gerald busy naman siya sa pag gawa ng pattern and pagtahi ng kanyang mga creation. Most of the time si Gerald pa ang model niya sa kanyang mga design and dahil baguhan she'll try to market it sa mga maliliit na stalls muna sa mga tiangge, all out support ang nobyo but she made him promise to do this on her own.

On their second anniversary he surprised her with a brand new sewing machine. She can't explain what she felt, she felt overwhelmed and excited at the same time. It was only dated a week ago and she knows what her answer will be. Halos kumpleto na ang requirements ni Gerald, sa kanya na lang ang kulang. Now she remmebered na a couple of times Gerald was reading something about civil marriages and was even talking about it. She didn't mind it at first kasi he's making kwento about his friend na nagpakasal etc and at that time she was busy making pattern and him as the model.

Monday morning nagpaalam siya sa boss niya na ma late sa umaga at may aasikasuhin lang daw, hindi rin sila sabay ni Gerald kasi may meeting ito somewhere in Makati. She went to NSo to get a copy of her birth certificate and pina rush niya talaga and cedula.

When she had everything even another copy of the application form for civil marriage with her signature in it she put all the documents in a red envelope and gave it to Dianne, Gerald's secretary. Kabado rin siya kasi she doesn't know kung ano ang magiging reaction nito baka naman di pa ito sure kaya di pa siya tinatanong pero sabi niya sa sarili niya bahala na. She waited and naiinip na siya kasi ang tagal tagal walang reaction, no calls nothing.

Earlier after Dianne gave the red envelope to Gerald he was really overjoyed. May small note pa kasi from Kim

Naging very busy si Gerald after that, he phoned Fred right away and pina asikaso na ang dapat asikasuhin.
