ummm...i'm skipping the forewords cause i feel like that spoils the whole story so ch 1...(ps.this is a short story)

Aaron's POV

She stepped onto the stage, looking beautiful as usual, her long hair streaming out behind her. "Hello everyone. My name is Charlene Choi and I am here to bring you this song 'Fang De Di'(ps you can search charlene choi fang de di if you haven't heard this before). "  A moment of silence passed as she closed her eyes for a while. She took deep breaths in to calm herself then opening her eyes, she said,' I hope all of you will like this song and...This song is dedicated to a friend that has made my life brighter from the moment he entered it. To him, I want to say thank you  and that...I will not look back.''  With that, she grabbed the mike and started to sing. As I looked at her beautiful self standing confidently upon the stage, the full impact of her words hit me, and knowing who and what she was talking about, a sharp pain shot through my very being and grief accompanied it. However, as the words of the song washed over me, I chose not to escape but to face the memories. Looking at Charlene, I let the memories of the day we first met play in my mind....

"Aaron!" I turned to see my best friend, Calvin, running towards me, hand-in-hand with his girlfriend, Gillian. A girl hurriedly followed behind them. "Aaron,this is Charlene," Calvin said,introducing me to the girl. "She's a new student in our next class."

"Uh...Hi..." I extended my hand in greeting. She shook it and smiled the warmest smile I'd ever seen.

"I'm Charlene Choi,you are..."

"I'm Aaron Yan," I replied.

''Nice to meet you!'' Charlene exclaimed. 

Soon, we had reached our next class.  Entering the class,we took our places and settled down. New student? She sure didn't look new.I mean she was talking to everyone around her as if they were her best buddies.

" She sure is friendly," I whispered to Calvin.

"Yeah. She should be fun to hang out with."

Just then the teacher walked in. " Settle down class.We are going to have a test today. Don't worry, its nothing  you haven't learned before," said Miss Chen as she distributed the papers out.
