“Heyyy! Hold the door please,” shouted Luhan as he rushed to the only working elevator with his heavy suitcase that decided to have a broken wheel the one day he uses it. As he got closer to the elevator, he saw a male student in a teal hoodie pushing the close button. Luhan locked eyes with the stranger as the door was 3 inches apart. “Hey! Wait!” But the stranger just looked at him blankly. Luhan gave a disgruntled 'you're so mean' look and he could have sworn the guy in the elevator smirked before it closed. So much for friendly student body.

It was his first day at Suk-Myeong University and he was late to his appointment with his college advisor thanks to a rude stranger.

Later, Luhan arrived at an impressive looking cream-colored house near campus. Exhausted from running around finding his classes while dragging his suitcase, Luhan quickly rang the doorbell. He was suddenly welcomed with dance music when the door opened revealing a paled skin boy with huge eyes staring at him.

“Can I help you?”

“Hi, my name is Luhan. I'm your new housemate.” Luhan gave a warm smile to ease the wide-eyed boy in case he didn't believe him, but the boy just kept staring at him.

“Wait. What?? Aren't you too young to be in college?”

Luhan chuckled. “No. I'm actually 21, but people tell me I look like a teenager--”

“Yahh Kyungsoo! Who are you talking to?” A really tall lanky guy with messy hair popped up behind the person called Kyungsoo. He spotted Luhan and gave him a smile that stretched from ear to ear. Whoa creepy smile.

“AHH! You must be the new guy that is going to be staying with us! Luhan right? Come on in! Don't mind this stupid guy with the 'raccoon caught in the headlights' eyes,” said the hyper new guy as he pushed Kyungsoo out of the way to help Luhan with his suitcase.

As soon as he stepped in, Luhan couldn't help but gasp at the amazing interior. It's so clean..Do they have a maid? Luhan wondered.

“Welcome to your new home! I'm Chanyeol. And that confused looking guy is called Kyungsoo. He is not really good with people. We only keep him because he's a great cook and he cleans really well,” said the hyper guy. Ah, so Kyungsoo is the reason why this place is spotless.

“Yah! I'm not your hired help,” exclaimed an embarrassed-looking Kyungsoo who closed the door behind them.

“Yeah yeah. Now should I give you a tour of the place Luhan,” asked Chanyeol.

“Yeollie!! Where are you??” shouted a new voice.

“In the hallway near the door Baek.”

A new shorter boy appeared in the hallway, wearing a y amount of guyliner. The said boy smiled seductively at Chanyeol, only then noticing Luhan next to him.

“Oi! You're the new guy, Luhan? Nice to meet you. I'm Baekhyun aka Chanyeol's ier half,” said Baekhyun as he came over to shake hands with Luhan and then held his boyfriend's hand. They must be reason why the ad for the room required someone who is not homophobic. Luhan smiled at the couple.

“Now on with the tour,” Chanyeol happily exclaimed as he and Baek led Luhan out of the hallway and into the next room.

“This is the kitchen--”

“No it's the bathroom,” Kyungsoo said sarcastically only to have Chanyeol's foot meeting his knee. 

The kitchen was brightly lit revealing white walls with granite countertops. There were six other boys around the large counter. Three of them were eating, one was on his laptop, one was washing dishes, and the last one was standing in front of the fridge looking indecisive.

“Hey guys, this is our new housemate, Luhan,” yelled Chanyeol. The other boys looked up. Luhan waved his hand and shyly said, “Hello. I'm Luhan.”

The one in front of the fridge introduced himself first. “My name is Xiumin. I'm the oldest.” He grinned and Luhan couldn't help but think aww he's so cute..reminds me of a -

“Baozi,” he unknowingly said out loud. Two of the guys that were eating snickered and the one on the laptop kept his gaze on Luhan.

“What?”

“Hyung, I knew that you reminded me of something but I couldn't think of it,” said one of the boys that snickered.

“What did he call me?”

“A baozi. Chinese for a steamed bun,” answered the other boy that snickered.

Luhan, trying to savage his mistake, quickly added, “Sorry. I didn't mean to offend. You just remind me of a baozi, a cute one of course.” He gave Xiumin an apologetic smile and the other boy softens. “It's okay.”

The boy that was washing the dishes, smiling brilliantly, finally spoke up. “I'm Suho. I'm the person you talked with over the phone.”

“Oh hello.” The boy smiled again and Luhan mentally decided that his smile was one of the warmest he has ever seen in his life.

Suho pointed at the two that snickered, “That's Tao and Lay. They're Chinese like yourself. And Kris is also Chinese.” Suho pointed at the guy on the laptop.

They each said hey and then the last one said, “I'm Chen. Korean. But I'm learning Chinese, so that I can understand what they're talking about in case they're talking badly about me.” He nodded towards the other 3 Chinese boys. Luhan silently laughed at the cute suspicious Chen. 

“Well that was boring,” Chanyeol spoke up again. Kris gave him a piercing look and Chanyeol noticeably stiffen. “Let's go to the living room to meet the other two who you will be living with.” He and Baek ushered Luhan out, leaving the other boys behind in the kitchen.

The living room was spacious, completely furnished, and had gray metallic walls. On the side there was a glass wall with doors that led to the outdoor patio. In front of the flat screen tv, a tanned, sweaty boy was playing with what Luhan assumed to be a dance game because he was dancing intensely. On the couch sat a boy with headphones on wearing a familiar teal hoodie. Wait..is that the guy from the elevator?

“Kai! Sehun! Meet our new housemate Luhan hyung,” Chanyeol hollered. The tanned boy stopped dancing and shyly introduced himself as Kai. The boy in the teal hoodie turned his head around to face Luhan. It is the guy from the elevator! He gave Luhan a cold glare then turned his attention back to his phone. Not caring one bit about the new member that will soon be living with him and his hyungs.
