DONGHAE's POV

It's been a week since were here in China and I am so happy that our schedule is packed. We wake up at 7 in the morning then go home at 10 or 11 in the evening and because of exhaustion, I drift off to sleep fast without having dreams. I like it this way, it distracts me from the things that I most wanted to forget. How I wish we stay here longer.

KNOCK.KNOCK.

"Come in," I said, while reading an article in a magazine.

The door opened and Wookie came in while hiding something from his back.

"Hey...what's that?" I asked.

He smiled at me and showed me the thing he's been hiding behind his back. It's a chocolate mousse cake with nemo drawn to it!

"Is---is it for me?" I asked...my eyes sparkling from the sight of the marvelous cake.

"Ofcourse its yours," Wookie answered and handed me a fork.

"Is it me or am I not updated with the date? Becasue I am pretty sure it's not October 15 today," I asked while deliberating whether I should eat or just hide the cake in my bag and preserve its perfection.

"No, hyung. It doesn't have to be your birthday for me to bake you a cake, you know," Wookie answered and I smiled at him. I was still eyeing the cake though.

"Why aren't you eating?"

"It looks so pretty...I don't want to eat it..." I answered, clutching the fork.

He chuckled and pinched my cheek, "Why do you have to be so cute, hyung? I can always bake you another one and I promise I'll make it prettier," He said, smiling, then he got a piece of the cake and held it infront of me, urging me to eat it. I ate it and almost squeeled from its sweetness.

"Waaah~ Wookie-ah, it's so delicious!" I said. Then, my fork was no longer in my hands, I pouted.

"I---I cant eat anymore?" I asked, getting sad.

Then Wookie just took another piece and told me to say 'aaaah' which I gladly did.

"I changed my mind. You wont need the fork, I'll feed you instead," Wookie said, feeding me another spoonful.

"It was so delicious! I wish you guys tasted it!" I gloated at Siwon, Kyu and Mochi when they arrived after buying some stuff.

"If you really wished us to taste it, you would've left some," Kyu said, rolling his eyes.

"Agree," Siwon butted in.

"As I said...it was delicious! I couldn't help it!" I stuck my tongue out and just went to watch television. I was browsing the channel then I stopped when I saw the title of the movie, "I give my first love to you," it's a japanese movie. We learned japanese so I understood the title, and I decided to watch it since I've read one ELF saying that it's a nice movie, might as well try watching it.

"That's japanese, isn't?" Kyu asked, sitting down next to me. I nodded.

We're watching in silence as the movie proceeded. Wow. The girl really is brave for showing her feelings, how I wish I was like her.

What's the use of being brave if you'd be rejected anyway?

Huh, that's right. Being brave doesn't mean that something will change. It will still be the same. Him rejecting me. Him being disgusted with me. Him hating me. And me being the only one who's hurting. What an outcome, right? I continued watching, Siwon settling down at the other side of me and putting his arm on my shoulder.

"You know, Hae, I was thinking..." Siwon said, a little too low for Kyu to hear, since he's too engrossed with the film. I looked at him with a 'what?' expression.

"It just occured to me, you know...If I was the one you fell inlove with...I might've given it a shot with you," he said, looking away after finishing his sentence with a slight tint on his cheeks. My eyes grew big...say what?!

"What?" I said, not knowing what to say. How am I suppose to react to that?!

"Nothing. Never mind," he answered, finally looking at me and smiled. He stood up and went to the kitchen, leaving me confused.

"Why---why did he have to die?" I said, sniffing. I've been crying ever since the part where the guy had a date with the girl at the amusement park. It brought back...pleasant but unwanted memories.

"Because the director wanted to?" Kyu said, rubbing my back and handing me tissue. It's a bit late already and the others went to bed early since we need to wake up at 7, but Kyu and I finished the movie, nonetheless.

"It's so sad..." I said, calming down.

"I know, it's very sad," Kyu answered back. He's unusually quiet today. I turned to look at him and shocked when he was staring at me.

"W--what?" I said. Wiping my nose if ever I've got a snot. He didn't answer though, he just stared at me with a serious expression. I was about to stand up and go to my room when he grabbed my wrist making me fall back on the sofa with a soft thud.

"Aw...Kyu---" I was cut off becasue he was suddenly leaning forward slowly, still holding my wrist. The way his eyes looked...I never saw them sooo...wild before.

"Kyu...what are you doing?" I said, backing away, but ended up laying down on the sofa with him on top of me, his right arm clutching my hand and his left arm propping himself up. His hair is too long that it's covering his eyes a bit, and his breathing became a bit faast.

 

"Kyuhyun-ah, what's wrong?" I asked, worried for the maknae's sudden weird behavior.

"I heard..." he started.

"What?"

"I heard what Siwon-hyung told you," he said, his hold on my hand tightening.

"Donghae-hyung...actually...I---I wanted to tell you the same thing..." he said, not breaking eye contact with me. I was staring at him now.

"Kyu...are you playing a trick at me?" I asked, smiling a bit, trying to lighten the mood. I silently prayed that he'll say, 'got ya!' and tease me.

"No. I'm serious." He said matter-of-factly. Then, he gave me a sweet smile and leaned down. I was too shocked to move or push him away, then I felt soft lips at the right corner of my lips...not too close to my lips...then it was gone. Kyu stood up and offered a hand to help me stand up too. I took it but looked away.

"Goodnight, Donghae-hyung," he whispered and patted my head before going to his room. I stayed there at the living room for awhile, speechless. 

What on earth just happened?!

Yay! I'm liking this pairings with Hae...haha...why does he have to be so pretty that guys are getting crazy because of him anyway? :)
