HYUKJAE

"What about the members?" Donghae asked as I secured his seatbelt. I looked him in the eye to find him having such a worried expression while he bite his lower lip. The sight melted my heart; really. Besides for the fact that he looked so damn adorable with that lip-biting, it softened my heart to know that he doesn't want to keep secrets from the group.

"What do you want to do?" I asked him, even if I am fully aware of what he wants.

"I don't want to lie to them," he whispered and looking down, avoiding my gaze. I smiled as I brought a hand to his chin and lifted his head up so that I can stare into that beautiful eyes. He smiled back slightly and I can't help myself but lean in and let my lips land on his soft ones for a few seconds before sitting properly on the driver's seat.

"We'd tell them. For sure all of them are asleep now, so we'd tell them first thing in the morning," I told him and he nodded with that childish smile as we drove back to the dorms, with my hand on his.

The resolve of us telling them the truth the next day dissolved to thin air as Donghae and I sat side by side with the members looking at us with scrutinizing eyes. It came as a surprise whenwe opened the door to find all of them in the living room, their predatory eyes landing on us. We are wearing confused looks and was about to ask why they are all still up but Heechul-hyung snapped at us and ordered us to sit down; and who are we to disobey that scary hyung? So here we are now, sitting formally as we waited for someone---anyone---to break the silence. I can feel Donghae trembling slightly beside me and I so wanted them to get over what ever they are planning to say so that we can take a rest.

"Hey guys?" I broke the eery silence and all eyes are on me; as if they weren't on me in the first place. "Do you have something to say? Because if we'd just stay here doing nothing, I'd suggest we just take a rest. Donghae's tired and he really needs to be in his bed now," I told them, looking at Donghae's direction before returning it back to the members who all had the same look on their faces; suspicion.

"Where have you been, Hyukjae?" Leeteuk-hyung finally asked.

"I was with Hae," I answered.

"Why? Isn't he supposed to be with BigBang members?" Heechul asked next.

"I fetched him," I said with a straight face, trying to push back at the back of my mind that image of Donghae and GD.

"Why?" Sungmin spoke.

"Because I don't like him to sleep there," I answered honestly.

"Why?" This time, it was Siwon who spoke and he smirked, same as with Kyuhyun who's beside him. There was something about the looks those two are giving me; it was as if they are challenging me. As if they are so sure I won't be saying the truth.

"Because he's mine," I answered with a serious voice as I grabbed Donghae's hand in mine and continued speaking; ignoring Hae's surprised squeak, "We're supposed to announce this tomorrow,but really---what's the point and besides, you're all here alreadyso better say it now. We're dating. Donghae and I."

There was complete silence. Eyes growing wide. Bodies kept still but I don't care about their reaction. All that matters is the hand I am holding and the person who this hand belongs to.

"Is---Donghae? Is he saying the truth?" Heechul-hyung turned to Donghae and even I looked at him.

Donghae's biting his lips again, but nevertheless, I smiled as he gave a nod and shyly looked down. And I can't help but push him closer to me, wrapping him around in my arms. After a few seconds of hugging the living daylights out of my Donghae, I shifted my positionand now I was backhugging him as I faced our members with the others who have their mouths wide opened and I playfully glared at them and said, 

"See that? He's mine, so back off."

I don't regret ever saying those words to the guys even if I ended up being tackled to the ground by all of them. Donghae was pulled away from me and was safely placedon the sofa by Sungmin-hyung before all the others started attacking me, threatening me that I'd die if they ever see Donghae sad and I even received some scratches, courtesy of Heechul-hyung, and my hair being pulled thanks to Leeteuk-hyung.

But all in all, they accept us. And we're happy.

Even if there are some ers; Siwon and Kyuhyun and even Yesung-hyung joins in at times.Even if there are overprotective mothers; Leeteuk-hyung and Heechul-hyung. Even if the others liked teasing us and making advances to Donghae just to make me a jealous bastard. Even if they are all childish and keep on knocking on our door everytime Hae and I would be alone in our room; yes, we already share on room.

Donghae's happy; and if he is, I am more than happy.

Everyday, I can't help but think how lucky I am to open my eyes and have Donghae's angelic features be the first I'd see. I can't imagine myself if I haven't realized my feelings because seriously, this is the first time I've been truly happy.

And it's amazing how I can be this happy person just because I have my best friend; my lover.
