DONGHAE’s POV

“Dongdong,” Mochi spoke as I got ready. Hyukjae said he’ll give me an hour to prepare and I only have 20 minutes left; damn that shower and its calming hot water.

“What is it, Mochi?” I said, looking through my dresser. I can’t seem to find the right set of clothes to wear! I think I needed to go shopping later. Mochi didn’t answer my question so I turned my head to look at him; he’s lying on the bed and texting.

“Yah, Mochi,” I whined and smiled when I got his attention. “What were you going to tell me?”

“Ahmm---Can—Can I go with you and Hyukjae-hyung?” he said, ending his question in a whisper.

Hyuk decided that he wanted to go to Lotte World, and he did not even give me time to object since he showed me the tickets in which he said he got from a hyung. I sighed, and agreed, halfheartedly. Not like I don’t want to go with him, but it’s just--- I don’t know what to feel as of this moment. Should I feel happy because he seemed to forget what happened last night, or disappointed because he forgot that I told him I love him? I’m starting to go crazy for thinking about it that’s why it took me long in the shower. Just imagining how we’ll be if we’re alone makes my heart leap in joy, but at the same time, what if we’re awkward when we get there? What if he’ll suddenly remember everything and just leave me there? So, you don’t know how relieved I was when Mochi said that.

“Of course!” I shouted with a smile and he looked at me weirdly.

“Why are you looking at me like that?” I pouted.

“I just thought you’ll disagree since it’s supposed to be a time between you and you’re bestfriend,” he answered me and I smiled; me and my bestfriend.

“The more, the merrier,” I just answered and went out of the room to tell Hyukkie. I opened his door without bothering to knock only to stop---and stare.

Hyukjae is in his boxers. His back is facing me as he rummaged through his drawers and he kept throwing clothes and they landed perfectly on top of his bed.  He’s too busy that he didn’t even notice I entered his room, and I just broke my eyes off him when I felt something on my feet. I looked down and saw Choco wagging his tail at me. Smiling at the dog, I stooped down to get him, only to be startled by a scream.

“Ah!!!”

I looked up and saw Hyukjae hiding behind the curtains, his face the only thing visible as he clutched the curtain tightly.

“Donghae! What are you doing?! Don’t you know how to knock! I’m !” He said in one breath. I stared at him for a moment, and he stared back, his face completely red from embarrassment. And that’s when I cracked.

“Sorry,” I whispered, before going out of the room with Choco in my arms and closed the door. As soon as I heard the door clicked, I laughed. I laughed so hard that Choco jumped away from my arms because I was shaking violently. I swear, the other members can hear my loud laughter.

“yah! Stop laughing!” I heard Hyukjae’s voice from inside of his room, and I laughed more. Without knowing, I started pounding the wall with my fist, because my stomach is really hurting now and I needed to vent the pain and the wall seemed like the nice place to do just that. He looked adorable. So adorable. I can’t help myself to think about his flushed face when he saw me and how he looked when he hid behind the curtain. Gosh, he is so cute it should be illegal!

“Stop that. You’ll hurt yourself,” a voice said, and I looked up, all smiles  and a streak of tears in my cheeks from too much laughter, and saw a fully dressed Hyukjae, but still blushing.

“But—But you---” I tried to complete the sentence but another wave of laughter came and I started laughing hard. I heard him sigh, and just stood there. After a few more minutes of laughter, I took a deep breath to calm myself and finally looked at him.

“Sorry,” I said again and he just smiled.

“I can see you haven’t finished you’re preparation,” he pointed out, and that reminded me of the reason why I became a laughing mess.

“Oh yeah. Speaking of that. Hyukkie, can we bring Mochi with us?” I asked.

“But--” he started but I cut him off.

“Pleeeeassseee~?” I said, giving him the best puppy eyes I can manage, and I valiantly moved closer to him, that I heard his breathing hitched. He gave a cough and sighed.

“Fine. Be ready in ten minutes. I’ll wait for you down stairs.” He said, looking away and walked down. I smiled and congratulated myself from the brave act.

“Oh, Hyukkie!” I said, deciding to a bit.

“What?” He looked back.

“I like your nemo boxers,” I stuck out my tongue at him and he ran down the stairs.

“Wow, this is so awesome!” Mochi said as soon as we parked the car. He’s at the back seat, looking out the window and was drooling over the amusement park. I smiled tenderly at him, he looks like a kid.

“Haven’t you been in an amusement park before, Henry?” Hyukjae asked, while he look for a place to park the car.

“Nope. I’ve never been in one,” Mochi answered back.

“It’s a good thing you came, then,” Hyukjae said, and I looked at him and found him smiling to himself. It’s nice to see Hyuk trying to get close to the SuJuM members, Mochi and Zhoumi. At least he’s not as harsh as he once was with Kyu. I looked out of the window as my mind wander off to Kyuhyun. Kyuhyun’s been nothing but well---no, perfect, for me. He does things no other human being ever did. He treats me like royalty. And loves me loyally, and in my mind, I wanted so bad to fall for him, to give him my love, but no matter how special he treats me, my heart is shouting out another person’s name. No matter how many times I’ve been hurt, how many sleepless nights I spent, how many tears I shed, my heart keeps on coming back to him; the only person I ever loved this deeply is the same person who’s giving me so much pain. I can’t help but smile bitterly for myself. My life is so tragic.

“What’s so funny?” Hyukjae’s voice brought me back to reality and I realized the car was parked and Mochi was already outside. I looked at Hyukjae, who’s eyeing me worriedly.

“It’s nothing. Let’s go,” I said and went out, and he followed suit.

We didn’t wear any disguises, and fans are everywhere but I kindly asked them to give us time to relax and being the awesome ELF they are, they agreed and went on with their business, though we know they’re still taking photos, at least they’re not crowding us and not asking for autograph. Mochi looked a bit uncomfortable, since he doesn’t know whether the fans approve him or not, so I held his hand and he started to relax. I smiled at him and he returned the favor. When we made our way to Hyuk, I noticed the frown on his face but when our eyes met, it disappeared and was replaced with a smile, I shove the feeling of asking his and just let it slide.

“Where to?” I asked.

“Where do you want?” He answered my question with a question. I raised my brow at him; Hyuk never make me decide on the rides, he usually just drag me where he wanted to.

“Let’s ride the carousel,” Mochi chimed, and I smiled at his cute choice, but nodded, nonetheless. We walked towards the ride and Mochi, literally, bounced up and down when he settled down on the horse, while Hyuk and I sat at a two-seater carriage, just beside Mochi. I was smiling warmly at the kid on the horse when I felt arms wrapping on my shoulder. I looked at Hyuk, and he stared back and smiled.

“He reminds me so much of you,” Hyukjae broke the silence, but stayed put.

“Oh? Why?” I asked, trying hard not to stutter, and wishing for my heart to stop beating so fast.

“He’s so bubbly, like you,” he finished with a smirk.

“Well, that he is,” I answered and the ride started. We were turning in moderate speed, and Mochi was laughing as he goes up and down. I asked for Hyuk’s phone since I forgot mine, and he handed it to me. I quickly snapped a photo of him, then the phone was gone in my hands. Looking at Hyuk, he leaned in closer to me and was looking straightly at the cam of his phone, he nudged me so I did the same and made a V-sign.

After that spinning ride, we tried most all the unextreme rides, since I learned that Mochi can’t do the extreme ones.

“You can do any rides you want, I’ll wait for you,” Mochi said as Hyuk started nagging that he wanted to ride the roller coaster.

In the end, I agreed to go with him to the ride and we were seated on the very front. I can see Mochi from the sideline, smiling at me and shouted ‘fighting,’ I smiled back and chuckled at him. The locks were placed and the ride started moving. And as it started moving fast, I felt hand lading itself on top of mine, and I faced Hyuk, his face looking straight, shouting as the ride reached its mid-. He looked at me, and smiled while shouting and the air making his hair in a funny form made me laugh so I started shouting at the top of my lungs, together with the other passengers but the only shout I can hear is mine and Hyukkie’s. When the ride came to a stop, we were still laughing. I didn’t even notice that we’re still holding hands, but I let it be, as he guided me towards Mochi.

“That was awesome! Let’s do it again!” Hyukkie said.

“Shut up! My head is spinning,” I said, but laughing at the same time; the feeling of the ride and the feeling of Hyukjae’s hand, tightly holding mine is making me so high and it seemed like he doesn’t want to let go, and I don’t want to, either.

“Donghae-hyung,” I heard a familiar voice calling me, and I looked back, only to be greeted by the face of Kyuhyun and Siwon on their way towards us.

As if on impulse, I released Hyuk Jae’s hands, and stood there. What is this? Why are they here?

And when they’re a few steps away from us, that same warm hand wrapped mine, and I looked at Hyukkie who has a smug look on his face.

“Hey, Kyu and Won! Donghae and I are going first!” He shouted, and bolted off, dragging me in the process. The shock look on the three person who was left behind was the last thing I saw, as I also ran and allowed Hyukkie to bring me where ever he wanted to go.
