Mixed Feelings

He's a ert, and He Thinks I'm Gay

Our short Britain trip officially ended with the EXO boys picking Luhan up in the airport. All of them were excited to see their best friend back but Luhan just stay away from them even when they bro-hugged him.

Before they exited, Lay cast a grateful smile at me as if reminding me of the plan that he’d entrusted me. I returned him a slight grin along with a nod hoping he would understand.

“All right, enough of your silliness, Kimberly. I’m off.” I waved to my group mates before I head home.

“Bye Eun Ji! See ya tomorrow for our dance practice!”

“You better be early!”

“Bye!”

Author’s POV

The car ride back to Luhan’s house was silent and Luhan wondered if he should reveal it now. *Should I? Or should I not?*

“Guys, I have something to confess.” Luhan broke the silence.

“What is it?” Lay responded first, the rest looked at him curiously. Ever since that incident, all of them had been trying their best to let Luhan recover his memories. Even if it requires all 5 of them to fly all the way to the US.

“Erm, I actually kinda… remembered you guys…” Luhan said softly.

“WHAT?!” they shouted, making the car drift sharply to the left. Luhan laughed.

“Relax. I remembered you guys. You’re Lay, BaoZi, Tao, Kris and Chen!” Luhan recited their names one by one and they all cheered and gave them manly hugs.

“I can’t believe it! You finally remembered us! Then what’s with the cold shoulder in the airport? Oh, did you remember Eun Ji? Your ex-fiancee?” Chen asked.

“It was an act to trick you guys. And that Jung lady… no I don’t remember her, still. Although I had another attack in the plane. It’s like she’s there, in my mind, but the next moment everything about her seemed foreign.” Luhan massaged his head with his palm. “I don’t remember her at all.”

Xiumin patted Luhan’s back. “Don’t worry! Everything will work out fine.”

“Yeah man. Soon you’ll be able to remember her. And when the time comes, you’ll not regret it.” Kris added, giving him a shoulder bump. Luhan just smiled at them. Surely Eun Ji gave him chills and excitement like none other girls did, but why is it so important for him to remember her even if she was his ex-fiancee?

Luhan laid back, closing his eyes as he thought about Eun Ji. Her figure isn’t that great, besides her overly huge eyes and her cute nose. Her hair is long and soft and her scent – familiar and pleasant. Unlike other girls, they always had that stuffy perfume on their body and it always chokes Luhan but hers smells like vanilla; fresh and inviting.

Man, he should stop thinking about her and get on with life. After two more months he’ll be back in the US enjoying his life.

Luhan drew in a breath, too much of Eun Ji he needs to get back to his usual life with the rest of the woman. “Hey, guys. Let’s go to the club. I need a breather.”

*

This is it man, this is the life. The loud music was like a perfect orchestra to Luhan’s ears. He missed this so much. But the atmosphere in a Korean club was different – not like in the US. But who cares? This is still a club.

The EXO boys were just as excited as Luhan. All of them, except for dear Tao are legal in this club. Kris had to bribe the bouncer just to let him in. They got into the VIP floor just as easily by flashing their dad’s company card. Luhan winked and smiled at the girls in the club and he love the way they melt just by looking at him.

“Hot chicks, my favourite.” Luhan convinced himself. They ordered a few bottles of beer and settled themselves comfortably in their seats. Lay sat beside Luhan so that he could control his alcohol level.

“One bottle and enough. Anymore may harm your body.” Lay warned.

Luhan frowned at him. “Don’t worry, I know. Come on, where are the hot babes?”

“There, beside this table. Hot chicks.” Kris gestured to the table beside us. Luhan smiled at them, giving them his best wink and they giggled. One of them got up moved over to their table and sat next to Luhan.

The boys whooped and cheered only Lay didn’t. He was disappointed that Luhan went back to the time when he was a womanizer. Stepping aside, Lay went out of the claustrophobic club and took a breather. He certainly don’t want to see Luhan in this manner. *I must get him to remember Eun Ji as soon as possible.* Lay thought.

*

“Hey, you look pretty.” Luhan complimented. The lady giggled, giving him a wet and uncomfortable kiss on his mouth, making Luhan wince. *This is weird. Why am I acting like this?* he tried kissing her again, this time more aggressively but the spark didn’t come at all. He faced her and realised that she looked disgusting.

Revolting even.

Not wanting to embarrass her or himself, Luhan excused himself politely and exited the club. Seems like club isn’t his thing anymore.

*

“Hey, babe.” Daehyun was outside my house, since I went home to rest instead of going back to the dorm. He scooped me up from my bed and gave me a warm hug. I breathed in his scent and wrapped my arms around his neck.

“Hey big guy. Missed you.” I said softly.

“You have no idea how much I missed you too, girl.” Without warning Daehyun leaned forward and brushed his lips against mine. Shocked, I stood there feeling idiotic as I felt his plump lips against mine.

He pulled back, smiling widely and then leaning in for another kiss. This time I was quick, quick enough to place a hand against his chest and stop him. Embarrassment flooded my cheeks. “Erm, I’m sorry but I’m really tired. The flight was long… y’know.”

Disappointment flashed in his eyes as he used his fingers and rake his hair. “Yeah, I know. I shouldn’t have come over…”

We chatted a while and I sent him out, feeling a tad bit sorry for making him come all the way here just to see me. He must’ve missed some precious time of his.

But it’s weird… my heart no longer miss him anymore even though I said I missed him. When he kissed me it was like kissing a rock. And it was our first kiss too. Argh, Eun Ji! Daehyun is your boyfriend. He’s the one that was there for me when I was down.

He’s not like Luhan.

Daehyun is kind, caring and a very big gentleman.

Luhan is just a erted, sick in the head womanizer. He’s not like Daehyun.

However, when sleep came, I dreamt of him again.

I dreamt of Luhan. But dream or not, I felt like I was in Heaven.
