Foreword
The famous boy band, DBSK, debuted four years ago. And as their fame grew, so did their fandom. Every fangirl claimed to be their NUMBER ONE FAN. But that was not possible. After all, there could only be one Number One in the world. But more specifically, there could only be one Number One in the heart....the heart of Kim Jaejoong.
“I promise I’ll write!” Jaejoong shouted after her as she headed towards the airplane.

“DONGBANGSHINKI!” the emcee announced.
Watching them on TV in her dorm, she squealed as they performed.
“Who’s that?” her roommate, Laura, asked, pointing to Jaejoong.
“He’s my boyfriend.”
Laura raised an eyebrow. “Sure...” Then she muttered under her breath, “Delusional fangirl.”
As their debut performance concluded, Jaejoong shouted, holding an envelope, “SARANGHAEYO!”
Laura stood in confusion. “What’s that supposed to mean?”
“It means, I love you,” she smiled. “And that envelope he’s holding? That’s for me. I told you he was my boyfriend.”
“You’ve got to be kidding,” her roommate stated.
“I’m not.”
And true to his word, the letter did come --- three days later --- along with a bouquet of forget-me-nots.
Forget-me-nots. Hope. Remembrance. Memories. But perhaps most importantly, true love.
They both believed their love was true. But was it?
When unforeseen circumstances come about, who will become the Number One?
I is for Irony.
It’s funny how things turn out.
