Foreword
“So who are you really? The charismatic guy on stage. Or the jerk who was so impatient for a cup of coffee?”
“Oh my gosh! She is such an Angel! please. You had all those stupid fans fooled but not me.”
“What if, I don’t know who I am? Or what I want?”
“You…you’ve got to be joking. Where’s the hidden camera?”
“I thought I knew what I was getting myself into. But I had no idea.”
He wanted fame. Or so he thought. From his trainee days onwards he worked on forming the perfect stage image for himself.
He worked to the point of forgetting who he really was. Who he once was.
She just wanted a job. Anything to help her hit the ground running. To be more than just a plain jane. She never thought about the chaos that could happen.
Molding yourself into the “ideal” human being can take its toll on you. Especially when the things you start to do, the way you start to act, just isn’t you.
How far would you go to push the old you behind you, until you’re hiding away?
