Love?

How does it feel to be in love and be loved?

I’ve become numb to this feeling they call ‘love.’

I used to know how it felt like to love someone and be loved by them, but that was a long long time ago.

I used to be a pretty happy kid with a happy family.

You know the typical family, caring parents, grandparents, and cute baby sister,…but that all change.

Now I’m just an empty, emotionless shell.

I don’t feel anything anymore not pain, regret, happiness, sadness, hate, or even love.

I wasn’t born like this, I became this way the moment they took me in.
