Payphone
Description
This story is inspired by the song Payphone - Maroon 5. I also recommend listening to the Jason Chen version. It's such a beautiful song. I advise that you listen to it before reading the story, and you can listen to it while reading as well. (: I just want you to get a feel for the purpose of the story. c:

Special thanks to DeerChoding for making the poster, she's so good at it<3.
I love it a lot (: Thank you !
- First time attempting a "foreword," but to be honest, it is not much of a foreword at all. I actually just wanted you guys to get a little taste of this story, though it may seem confusing, because I won't post this story until I'm done with "Being Enough." I don't want to get into the habit of trying to write a bunch of stories at the same time xD haha. I planned on making this story a oneshot, but I think that there's just too much to cram into one page/chapter. But this is not a very chaptered story. This is a short story, maybe three or four chapters. (: Sorry, I'm not very fond of writing long stories, because I can't commit to them very well. You guys will see that soon. (: Please tell me your opinion, and support me. <3 I'd much appreciate it.
Foreword
You can love somebody with all of your heart, give them everything you have, try your best to keep them happy, do everthing in your power to make a future for you two . . . But, at the end of the day, you both know that your best, just isn't enough. That's why you left, that's why you walked out of that door with nothing but the clothes on your back and a few cents in your pocket. You wanted her to be happy, you wanted her to have her happily ever after, even if it means you don't get yours.
But no matter how hard she tries to tell herself otherwise, the plans she made for her future were meant for two. And while you're wandering around alone, thinking that you've wasted so many nights on her, she still hasn't exactly turned out the lights yet.
And as for her, she'll learn that not all bridges burn down, because even the sun sets in paradise. And when she realizes that you're both still stuck in the time that you called love and always will be stuck there, that's when she'll remember the people you used to be, the people you still are.
That's when you'll find a payphone, and she'll find a second chance.
" Ich steh hier am Payphone. . . "
