It was Sunday and you were cleaning the house. Done with your chores, you went into the kitchen for a drink.
“Throw the garbage away.” Your stepmom sipped her coffee.
You sighed and grabbed the black bags. You dragged them out to the front. You threw them away, turned around, and gasped, “L. Joe?”
“You didn’t call me pink for once. I think we’re falling for each other.” He chuckled.
“What are you doing here?” You asked.
L. Joe glanced at the trash cans, “You look like you’re done with your chores.”
You nodded, “I am.”
“Great.” L. Joe grabbed your wrist.
“What? Hey-“ You yelped as he dragged you away from the house. You glanced back, “But my family-“
“Do you really think they would care?” L. Joe gave you a look. You paused.
“Besides, wouldn’t you rather spend time with me?” He wiggled his eyebrows. You couldn’t help but laugh.
“Come on.” L. Joe pulled away.
The two of you ran off. You skidded to a stop and your eyes rounded in fear, “E-east Seoul?” “Yeah, that’s where all the fun stuff are.” L. Joe tugged on your wrist but you pulled back, “I don’t want to go there again.” “Why not?” He asked. You darted a glance at him, “You know why.”
“Oh.” *Zea.* L. Joe assured, “Don’t worry. You’ll be all right. You’re with me. What could go wrong?”
