He looks back at her with a smile that could melt the entire world. The sun shines upon his light brown hair, which forms a light golden halo around his head. An image of an angel materializes in her mind as she stares back at him.

He holds out his hand toward her. When she didn’t take his hand the smile was replace by a frown, “Don’t you trust me?”

Trust is not the issue here. Without a doubt, she trusts him with her life. However, the prospect of what they’re about to do forms a nervous knot in her stomach. She nervously bites the inside of her cheek, but nods at him.

The corner of his lips pulls upward and forms a smile, “Well then, what are you waiting for?”

She hesitantly takes his hand and he laces his fingers with hers. His touch spread this warm electrifying sensation from her hand, all the way up her arm and throughout her entire body. She felt calm now that her hand is in his. He has that affect on her.

He leads her toward the edge of the waterfall. Its thundering sound quickens her heartbeat. It’s about a 20 feet drop and that was the reason why she was nervous. She trusts him, but she do not trust what lies beneath the emerald green water below. He squeezes her hand, “On three. Okay?”

She nods.

“One … two …”

They hang in mid air. The scream sticks in . Then the wonderful gravity takes effect and the both of them plummets toward the water below them. The scream escapes and it is so loud that she’s unable to hear the thundering sound of the waterfall.

They plunge into the water. The cold silky touch of the water envelops them. He never let go of her hand, as they claw their way toward the surface.

She in the fresh air as soon as they surfaces. Using their feet and their free hands to tread water he faces her. His wet hair clings to his face, but he was still beautiful, “Now, that wasn’t so bad was it?”

“No,” she smiles and then let out a laugh. “It was exhilarating.”

He pulls her closer to him and placed his other hand around her waist, “You can always trust me, Amber. I will never do anything to hurt you.”

She blushes and hopes that he will not notice and if he do, she hopes that he contribute it to the cold water they are in, “I will always trust you, Luhan. I will never doubt you.”
