The City Of Ember: Science Fiction

The City of Ember is science fiction because it is in the distant future, where the whole Earth goes into war with each other, with diseases spreading like wildfire and eventually almost all life becomes extinct, that is when the protection plan goes into play and 25 males and 25 females were asked to go to a new city and raise 2 kids per couple and let the children  know nothing of the past. So in this city, there is no movable light and the city is gradually dying because there is no sun whatsoever and stocked supplies are running out.

This city, is the city of Ember.
