TERMINOLOGY

ATHOSIA
The land in which the Kingdom of Ordea thrives in. 
Its terrain varies from barren deserts to snow capped mountain ranges.
Was once the land The Guardians protected. Athosia is split into three major land masses and many small islands.

KASSAMIA
The largest continent of Athosia.
The Kingdom of Ordea is located in the northern region of Kassima. 
The larger southern half is called The Outerlands.

MEASU
The smaller continent of Athosia where many of the past wars were fought
because of its geological location between Threshim and Kassima.

THRESHIM 
The dark island where the Gate of Morgana is located.

THE GATE OF MORGANA
Entrance to the Forbidden Realm where one is tortured for eternity.
Guarded and sealed by The Fellowship of Kalima, keepers of the gate.

ORDEA
A large kingdom, north of the Outerlands. Governed by The Council of Ordea.
Most people who live in Ordea live no longer connected to their original tribe.

THE OUTERLANDS
Where most connected tribes live. Many tribes who live close to Ordea are active
in political affairs of the kingdom,  but many who live farther from Ordea do not have any concerns for it.

THE COUNCIL OF ORDEA
Ordea's leaders who guide the people of the kingdom. They are the protectors and defenders of their people.

THE GUARDIANS
13 warriors who defeated The Shade and locked him behind the Gate of Morgana.
They became the protectors of all of Athosia.

THE SHADE
A being who is a master at black magic and hexes. Created evil creatures such as Skrill.
Resurrected Shadow Sweepers and the Clan of Thorem, and began the War of The Guardians.
He was defeated and locked in the Gate of Morgana.

SKRILL
Creatures that were created by The Shade. Once humans, but gave into the temptation of The Shade. 
Exchanged their powers and core energy for The Shades power. Extremely strong and dangerous.

SHADOW SWEEPERS
Half men, half spirit. The souls of those who tried to conjure a different
kind of core energy by enchanting the blood of magical creatures and beings and drinking it.
They became part spirit when they tried to take in the energy of Hovath, the magician.
Rode on creatures called Eeries. They were executed on Threshim.

THE CLAN OF THOREM 
Once warriors for Ordea. They beecame power hungry and prideful, wanting to become gods.
They tried to create a potion for immortality and attempted to absorb all the powers of the
Council members of Ordea to create the mixture. When punished for what they did, the Clan
drank the unstable potion out of anger. The results, horrifying. They were executed on Threshim.

TORBACKS
Bird like creatures used by The Shade for war and to send messages. 
Are said to have killed warriors with their extremely high-pitched, concussive calls.

CORE ENERGY
In one word: Life. The life source of all living things in Athosia.
Those who are gifted with powers have extremely high levels of core energy.
In some cases one may have core energy that is, or has been, enchanted.
