She was lying down in a comfortable place. It was warm and… spongy.   *…Where the heck am I…?* Naeun squinted her eyes, trying to refocus. Suddenly, it dawned on her. She looked down to see herself sitting on top of her bed. She was in her room.   *Why am I in my bed…?*   Flashbacks of last night’s kiss flooded Naeun’s mind. That mindblowing, sensational feeling of Baekhyun’s soft, sweet lips being pressed down on hers in a needy—almost hungry—urge.   Naeun’s fingertips slowly came up to her lips as her fingers glided over them. She couldn’t have dreamt it. It was impossible, and it felt so real. Without thinking, her cheeks tinged pink.   She sat in silence, rethinking everything carefully. *Could it be… that Baekhyun oppa carried me back to my room afterwards?* It was a possibility, that was for sure.   Naeun broke out into a large beam. Happiness radiated from every end of her body. *I kissed Baekhyun. That means that Baekhyun likes me too, right?* She laughed like an idiot and grabbed her pillow, squealing in it and hugging it to her face in embarrassment.   *I’m so happy, I could die.* Naeun jumped out from her bed and twirled around. She was definitely on Cloud 9. Quickly, she checked the time and decided to take a shower before heading downstairs for breakfast.   In a flash, Naeun walked into her private bathroom, locked the door, and stripped off her clothes in a heap on the floor. She wasted no time and the shower, letting out a relaxed sigh when the warmness kissed her skin.   As the drops of water hit her head, the thoughts of Baekhyun kissing her again made her giggle in sheer happiness.   *Byun Baekhyun. Baekhyun oppa. My Baekhyunnie~* Naeun snickered. A gentle, loving smile took over her lips as she shyly bit down on them.   *This is just crazy.* She shook her head with a smile and proceeded to shampoo her hair.   Today was a good day.   ------------------------   Naeun bounced downstairs with semi-damp hair a while after her shower. On her way to the last step, someone slung an arm around her neck. Alarmed, she turned around.   “Xiumin!” Her lips formed an ‘o’ shape. Xiumin just smirked at her, “You seem happier than usual, mei-mei. Any reason why?”   Naeun couldn’t contain her giddiness, so she merely flashed him a wide smile, “Secret!”   Xiumin’s face fell. “What? No! Tell me!” He protested.   “Uh-uh.” She shook her head and stuck out her tongue at him, skipping away.   “Huh… Weird…” Xiumin scratched his head as he monitored her from afar. *She’s not usually this playful…*   Just then, Tao came downstairs with Kai. The panda maknae tilted his head to one side and pointed at Xiumin’s dazed stupor, “What’s going on with gege?”   Kai furrowed his eyebrows and shrugged as he waved his face in front of the elder’s face, “Minseok hyung? Earth to Xiumin!”   Xiumin snapped out of it and slapped his hand away, surprised. “What?” He shook his head, “You and your earthling jokes. We’re not even on Earth, pabo.”   Kai took note of this and blinked in realization, “Oh. That’s right. I bet Naeun’s influencing me too much, with her human jokes and all.” He let out a chuckle.   “Speaking of mei-mei, what’s up with her?” Tao sleepily rubbed his eyes and looked straight ahead at Naeun. She had a little skip in her step and a prance in her walk. Every two minutes, she’d twirl and giggle secretively to herself.   “Huh. Maybe the EXO air has finally gotten to her. She looks cuckoo.” Kai studied her, his lips quirked in thought. Tao slapped his arm while giving Kai a dirty look.   “Wha—OW!” Kai rubbed his arm and pouted a bit. “Don’t talk bad about mei-mei!” He glared at him. Kai raised his hands up in defense and rolled his eyes, “Okay, okay. Sheesh.”   Xiumin didn’t pay attention to any of this and rubbed his chin in deep thought. *I wonder what’s up…*   Meanwhile, Lay looked up at Naeun with a slightly amused smile on his usually calm face. “Mei-mei, you look nice today.” *And happy, too.* He beamed at her.   Naeun looked up at him and giggled, “You think so?” She curled a piece of her hair behind her ear, “You’re such a charmer, Lay.” She joked, “But thank you. I think you look nice too.”   Lay—dressed in his white tank top and light blue pajama bottoms with clouds printed on them—blushed adorably. “Thanks mei-mei.” He mumbled shyly.   *Aww, too cute!* Naeun kindly smiled at him and continued to set the table. Suho quietly watched as he chopped he vegetables and smiled. *I’m happy she’s happy.*   Just then, Chanyeol and Chen appeared in the kitchen. Chanyeol was also in good spirits, while Chen had a headache.   “Hola amigos!” Chanyeol said loudly in a Spanish accent. Both Naeun and Suho gave him a confused look while Lay looked startled and almost dropped a spoon.   “Agggghhh, shut up.” Chen rubbed his temples and sat down on a chair close to the kitchen counter. He tiredly rested his head on it and let out an exhausted sigh.   Naeun slowly walked up to Chen and ducked down, matching her eye level to his. She glanced at him worriedly, “What’s the matter, oppa? Are you hurt anywhere?”   Chen slowly nodded his head, staring at her. “My head hurts because somebody started blasting their music and randomly started dancing in the morning, almost giving the rest of us a heart attack.” He narrowed his eyes at Lay, who blinked and sheepishly coughed, avoiding his gaze.   Naeun snickered and soothingly rubbed Chen’s head, “I’ll get an Advil for you. Just rest up for now.” Chen muttered, “Thanks, Naeun.” She smiled and scoured the cabinets for some medicine.   Finally, she found it, but it was on a high shelf. *Just a bit closer…* She went on her tiptoes to reach it, when at that moment, two figures reached for it at the same time. Naeun looked beside her to see Kris and Chanyeol reaching for it. Chanyeol was faster, however, and handed it to her.   “Oh, thanks, you two.” Naeun took it and tried with all her might to unscrew the lid, but it wouldn’t open. “Huh? Why isn’t it opening?”   Chanyeol crossed his arms and laughed defiantly at all 188cm of Kris, “Haha, Kreease! How does it feel to be beaten by someone shorter than you by a few centimetres?”   Kris rolled his eyes, “Immature. And just so you know, it’s Kris, not Kreeease. Pabo.” He shook his head and smoothly took the pill bottle, opening it with ease. “Oh! Thanks.” Naeun chimed and took the pills, filled a glass with water and gave it to Chen, who gulped it down.   “Aigoo. You’re so nice, Naeun-ah.” Suho ruffled her hair affectionately. She smiled in gratitude.   When she was about to put down some plates, Chanyeol grabbed her arm and pulled her away quickly. “Chanyeol oppa!” She squealed quietly, “What are you doing?!”   Chanyeol put a finger to his lips and winked, “Shh. I have to ask you something.” Naeun pursed her lips.   “So, did you take my advice yet? When are you gonna confess?” He studied her expression, “Unless… you already did?! That explains your happy mood!” He gasped.   “Of course I didn’t confess yet!” Naeun blurted out—a bit too loudly. She slapped a hand over but continued talking in a hushed manner, “Well… I don’t really know if it was a confession or not.”   By now, Chanyeol’s eyes were wide, urging her to go on.   “We… um… sort of… kissed, last night.” Her face became hot.   Chanyeol gaped at her, an incredulous grin spreading across his face rapidly, “You WHAT?!” Naeun hurriedly clamped his mouth shut with her hand, “Shhh!”   “Sorry.” He said in a muffled voice.
