Synopsis:
12 year old Yoona and Victoria had been best of friends since kindergarten. After a school trip they decide to make a trip of their own. At dawn Yoona returns alone to the camp in panic and ever since no trace of Victoria has been discovered. 14 years later Yoona is a successful deputy running after the bad guys all around South Korea and is knowingly engaged to Lee Donghae, CEO of his father's business. After receiving a mission to chase down a fugitive, whose shot down the president's son, she calls off the wedding. However, within this mess she doesn't know that the fugitive is already in Seoul, Korea seeking shelter. Within Victoria's (the fugitive) flight for safety she runs into Taecyeon and Donghae. In a complicated manner she gets entwined with both Taecyeon and Donghae bringing everyone closer together when Yoona finally discovers her. Underneath this mess Yoona faces difficulty confronting her feelings and her friendship, Victoria pinned between the three others, Taecyeon forced to reorganize his life, and Donghae who is confronted with a different reality than he's ever known.

FYI: To Defend or Defense comes from the Latin term Defence. If you can see in the cover I purposely flipped the two words in the title. =D

Characters:
Donghae - our normal everyday guy, who's rich witih an obviously powerful background, owns a large business, and has a beautiful fiance, which everyone envies, Yoona. He is an overall average guy who's nice at times and mean at other times. His family highly approves of his marriage, which just makes life perfect.
Victoria - a fugitive, who is being under watch and is continuously on the run. She doesn't understand the kindness of human acts, such as when a person hands out money to a beggar or a homeless person. Why not just give them all the money you've saved up in your life? She is one, who's missed out a lot on the things a normal girl would have had growing up be that makeup, dates, boyfriends, girlfriends, outings. Because of what she's been doing the past years has kept her hidden and restrained from her free personality.
Yoona - daughter of the most respected sheriff in Seoul, Korea. She is a deputy and had led many successful cases and of course, engaged to Donghae. She's a strong, kind, sturdy woman who's very devoted to her job and even forgets her personal life sometimes. One of her strongest reasons for being a deputy is that even behind all the people she's shot down she's still anxiously searching for her friend, who went missing the night they stole away from camp.
Taecyeon - an employee/guard in Donghae's business. He's not on close terms with Donghae but there's been many times he's been invited to business gatherings and because of that he's found himself with lingering feelings for Yoona.

***In this story I'm going to be using the same main couple as I've used in You Said Remember Me, my other story with Donghae and Victoria. You can expect to see YoonHae together and TaecYoon together but Victoria is also my main character. I'll be writing about her more, but all of them are the main characters in the story and will be sharing turmoil together.
***F.Y.I. I am not gauranteeing TaecYoon or YoonHae as the end couple.
***And one more word, I am just borrowing the idol's names. Nothing intended (Truthfully, I'm not a big TaecYoon or YoonHae fan) so please look forward to the story for just being it's own story.
