"Guys," you said casually at dinner. "I'mgoingtoChinaforaweek," you said in one breath.

They blinked at you. "Mwo?"

"Er...I got accepted to an internship with the Junior Ambassador's Association. They're sending me to China for a week."

"Can I come?" Sehun asked.

"Sehun, they're only sending the ambassadors."

"I'll go on my own!"

"You'll miss too much school."

"You're going to miss school too though Elise."

You sighed. "I'm going on an academic leave. Plus I'm a good student. I'll be fine. You can't afford to miss a week."

He pouted.

"I'll go," Baekhyun offered.

Suho shook his head. "You can't miss that much college Baek."

"Well then...who's going with her?" D.O. asked, looking at everyone.

Suho paused to think. "Well...I'm the best student out of us guys."

"Joonie oppa," you said gently.

"Hm?"

"I want to go on my own," you admitted softly.

They all stared at you.

"You mean..." began Sehun with wide eyes. "You don't love us Elise?" His eyes got wet.

You groaned. "Sehunnie oppa! That's not what I meant and you know it!"

"So you do love us?"

"Yes!"

"Say it then!"

You rolled your eyes. "I love you guys. Happy?"

They all beamed and Sehun nodded happily.

"Anyway. What I meant was that school is something I do on my own. So naturally, I'd like to have this experience of being out in the world on my own."

They were quiet then.

Then Suho sighed and spoke up. "Araso. But on one condition."

"Mwo?"

"You let me call EXO-M and have them meet you wherever you are."

Knowing they'd tie you to the bed if you said no, you nodded. "Araso."

He smiled brightly. "Great!"

You packed that weekend and were to leave on Sunday.

"You be careful in China," Suho commanded. "Don't go anywhere outside your ambassador things without one of the EXO-M members. And I'm going to expect a call every day."

"Ne, ne."

"Good." He ruffled your hair affectionately.

"I'll miss you Angel!" Baekhyun said when you were at the airport, throwing his arms around you and hugging you close. "My Angel's all grown up!"

"Hyun-Hyun oppa," you said, "it's only a week."

"It'll feel like an eternity!" He kissed your cheek and let go.

Kai claimed you next, holding you close to him and kissing your head.
