Description
Many groups have tried to make it in America, but failed. Holding concerts in L.A. and actually becoming popular in all of the U.S. are two totally different things. In Japan, Up Front agency has launched an all new Hello!Project branch in the United States, centered in New York, called Hello!USA. They sent scouters to hold auditions for different girls all over America, looking for not only idols; but fantastic singers. So far, they've only created one group with the few selected girls; Ultra Smart.
The members became increasingly popular in the U.S. by their video views on YouTube, dance tutorials by the members, and their feedback to their fans on twitter and through livestreams. They made their live debut on 'The Late Late Show' with their hit single, '3, 2, 1, Breaking Out!' and soon became even more popular among their fellow Americans. Will the future stay bright for these girls?

Rules
✰ Only 4 girls are needed, but don't let it stop you from applying
✰ Comment on every other update (it's okay if you don't comment on one chapter, but I expect you to comment on the next)
✰ I'll say this right now, all of the girls will have to pick someone from One Direction as their true love interest. So, sorry to the people who want a Kpop/JPop love :( But, you can have a Kpop/JPop idol as your current boyfriend, crush, or friend!
✰ For your face claim, you can pick either an actress, ulzzang, or gyaru girl (Asian only)
✰ There'll be fanservice in the story now and then, as in most Asian girl groups. So don't apply if you don't like girls acting slightly flirtatious towards each other now and then. Though it's nothing serious.
✰ Put your application in the comments
✰ The age range is 17-24, the oldest will be the leader by default. Second oldest will be the co-leader.
✰ No password, these are pretty easy rules and if you haven't read them I'll know (and make your character end up like Jamie Lynn Spears ^^ lol jk)
✰ Some songs from other artists will be used in the story, but there will also be some original lyrics made by me.
✰ Don't rush me! Some chapters may be short, because I update faster that way.
✰ No bashing, not on my writing or the plot. I know this is an Asian fanfic site, but this story is about Asian artists; the applicants' characters. I thought it'd be nice to have a One Direction application story, because how many are really out there? That's all :)
