"Hey Sica.." called Yuri tenderly as she entered Jessica's room with a tray of warm milk
"How're you feeling babe?" smiled Yuri

"Yul.."
"Feel much better" lied Jessica

In actual fact, she's always not feeling any better.
Jessica felt like dying, but she thought of it&decided to not let anyone worry for her.
So, instead of crying or anything, she's keeping everything to herself.

But Yuri, obviously know Jessica's lying.
I mean, Yuri's a doctor, whats there for her to not know, right?

"Sounds great"
"Here, drink this" smirked Yuri
"Made by me, its filled with Kwon Yuri's love"
"Have some" offered Yuri as she put the straw into Jessica's mouth, easier for Jessica to consume it.

Leaning over to the drink, Jessica drank it with a weak smile on her face.
After taking a few sips, Jessica gently pushed it away.

"Thanks Yul.."
"I dont.. want it.. anymore.."

"Why?"
"You have to drink something Sica"
"Being on glucose drip isnt too good for your body"
"You're losing all weight" said Yuri
"Glucose drip is just to ensure that your body has sufficient sugar to keep it going"
"It doesnt provide all rounds of nutrients like potassium, sodium, iron etcetc" explained Yuri
"You have to slowly start taking in food"
"Now that im back here, i'll take care of you" added Yuri
"So drink up"

"Yul.." called Jessica with pleading eyes
"I dont want it.."
"I'll throw up after.. drinking&..eating.."

"You're not eating because you'll throw everything up?!"
"Sica! You cant be like this ah"
"Its okay to throw up, but its not okay to not eat instead"
"Plus, if you eat, your body will have sufficient nutrient, your bags of solution would decrease"
"You wont have to rely so much on it" reasoned Yuri as she put the straw near Jessica's mouth with a stern glare which eventually made Jessica finished the whole cup of milk
"Thats my babe" smiled Yuri satisfied
"Anyway, i've told butler lee i'll be taking care of you"
"So, yup that whatever Dr.Kim wouldnt have to come in with his horrible bunch of nurses tying you up already" said Yuri with an annoyed look.

"You heard..?"

"Of course Sica!"
"I hate him, why did he have to tie you up!" protested Yuri
"Anyway, i'll get you better nurses" chuckled Yuri
"Im sure they wont tie you up"

"Dont blame Dr.Kim Yul.."
"It was me.. i was overreacting.."
"Thats all.." explained Jessica slowly
"I was.. throwing some.. temper fits.."
"Probably you would.. find it as an excuse.."
"But im just.. blaming it on my fever.. thats doing the mischief that.. day.." smiled Jessica weakly as she slowly sat up from her bed

"But that also doesnt mean he can tie my Sica up!" insisted Yuri protectively
"Wait, let me call my WONDERFUL nurses here" said Yuri, emphasizing on the word 'WONDERFUL'.

*PHONE CALL*

"Yoboseyo"

"Hey Sooyoung, its me"

"Oh Dr.Kwon?"
"Where have you been!"
"We're struggling so much without you here!"
"The hospital head is gonna fire you if you're not here" said Sooyoung panickly over the phone

"Ignore that old man"
"Sooyoung, come&work for me with YoonA"
"I'll pay you girls, quit that job now&come over to XXX"

"Cheongmallo?!" replied Sooyoung happily
"Araesso, i'll be there within an hour with YoonA"
"Its no fun working with the other doctors"
"They're always bullying us" whined Sooyoung

"Araesso"
"Come soon"
"See you"

*END OF PHONE CALL*

"Who was.. that..?" asked Jessica curiously

"Oh, someone who's gonna look after you when im not around"
"Just wait&see, they are someone fun&entertaining"
"Keep your hopes high babe" winked Yuri cheekily
"Anyway, i heard that Dr.Kim managed to push your name up to the first in waiting list for the heart transplant"
"Right?"

"Yeah.."
"Thats what.. he said.." sighed Jessica sadly

"Hey dont sigh babe"
"Its no use sighing like that, im sure things would get better"
"Dont worry about it" assured Yuri
"I'll make you better no matter what"

"Really.. Yul..?" asked Jessica as her eyes lit up for a few seconds but fell dull again.
"Nevermind, dont bother.. its never going to happen.."
"Except for a heart.. transplant.."
"I feel so.. inhuman.. for taking other.. people's heart.." muttered Jessica guiltily.
"Imagine.. someone leaving the world.. without a heart.. in his body.." added Jessica with a pained expression

"Hey Sica, dont think of it this way"
"That person who donated his/her organ is someone noble"
"His/her act would be remembered deep down in our heart even if no one would remember his act, we will"
"And that person would definitely go to heaven" smiled Yuri assuringly
"Now rest okay?"
"I'll prepare something for you to eat later"
"Remember, its okay to throw up but not okay to not eat" warned Yuri as she help Jessica back to lie down on her bed before leaving Jessica to her room&rest.

An hour later, YoonA&Sooyoung entered the Jungs mansion with an amazed look.
Looking around the unfamiliar place, YoonA&Sooyoung finally stepped into the living room,
welcomed by butler lee.

"Erm excuse me"
"But may i know who are you two looking for?" asked butler lee politely with a slight bow

"Anyeonghaeseyo"
"We're looking for Dr.Kwon.."
"I mean Kwon Yuri" said YoonA
"Is she here?"

"Or did we came to the wrong place?"

"Oh, Ms Yuri"
"One minute please" smiled butler lee as he went into the kitchen&returned to the living room few minutes later with Yuri behind him.
"Here, Ms Yuri"

"Thanks butler lee" smiled Yuri
"Hey girls" said Yuri as she gave the two shikshin a hug

"Hmm.. smells like sharkfine porridge" commented Sooyoung as she sniffed at the smell coming from Yuri's body as she was hugging her

"Waaah~" added YoonA who was doing a hand motion like she's sweeping all the smell thats coming out into her nose

"YAH!"
"Why are the two of you such a shikshin!"
"Im hiring you to work for me, not to smell the food" said Yuri a little annoyed

"Awww~ unnie~" whined YoonA in an irritating tone
"We're hungryy~"

"Dr.Kwon~~" whined Sooyoung as she joined in to irritate Yuri
"Im hungry too~"

"Aish!" exasperated Yuri
"You girls have yet to start work&you're getting food from me already?!"
"Follow me!"

"YES!" cheered the two in unison happily as they entered the kitchen with Yuri

While Yuri was getting the two a bowl of porridge each, the two shikshin was looking around the well designed kitchen with amazement.

"Whats so interesting that made you girls to have this expression?" asked Yuri as she placed the bowl of porridge infront of the shikshins

"I didnt know you live in such luxurious mansion" said Sooyoung as she took a mouthful of sharkfin porridge

"Same here"
"Its like so wow.." commented YoonA with amazement

"Well, you girls continue eating while i explain to you all" said Yuri with a weak smile
"This mansion dont belong to me, but my girlfriend"
"She's sick, thats why i need you all to come look after her when im away for any various reason" explained Yuri
"So yeah, if you girls dont mind, you all can take a guest room each to look after her for me"
"Well, you know, its good to be by her side 24 hours daily" added Yuri sadly

"Woah.."
"You've got a girlfriend?" asked Sooyoung amused
"Well, whats wrong with her?"
"You sounded so serious"

"Precisely"
"Sounds so serious" nodded YoonA in agreement

"My girlfriend's Jung Jessica"
"The only daughter of the SM as sports company"
"Her heart valve has been damaged by rheumatic fever when she was 7"
"Till now, age of 23 went through 3 heart sugeries"
"You girls are nurses, so im sure you know the seriousness of going through 3 heart surgeries although 3 sounds little to people who doesnt know a thing" explained Yuri while the two shikshin nodded as they continuously put mouthful of porridge into their mouths
"Then, after her mitral heart valve replacement surgery"
"Her aortic heart vavle failed"
"I dont know what exactly happened because such cases are so rare that it didnt really happen before" added Yuri
"So now, i cant operate on her to change it for her because the 4th time is really too dangerous"
"She cant afford the 5th time if the 4th time failed"
"You girls understand right?"

The two shikshins just nodded at the seriousness of it.

"So, im just leaving the 4th surgery to a heart transplant"
"But you girls should also know that a heart donor is rare to start with"
"I just want her to feel better, so yup"
"Hope you two can cheer her up with your silly jokes as well as taking care of her"
"I trust the both of you" smiled Yuri confidently

"Thanks for trusting us Dr.Kwon" said Sooyoung with a smirk
"We'll make her feel better"

"Yeah unnie!"
"We'll make your girlfriend feel better"

"Hey Sooyoung, dont call me Dr.Kwon"
"Just call me Yuri"
"I mean, we're no longer working in the hospital"

"Okay sure Yuri"

After the two finished eating, they were led to the guest rooms prepared for them&to Jessica's room.
Entering the room, the two shikshin was a little taken aback to see the peace looking girl sleeping on the bed with wires, infus&oxygen mask attached on that tiny fragile girl.

"Heartshattering, isnt it?" mocked Yuri sacarstically as she entered the room&sat on Jessica's bed
"How i wished i was the one going through all these.."

"Hey Yuri.."
"Dont feel that way, im sure Jessica doesnt want you to go through all these"
"She would rather herself going through it" comforted Sooyoung as she placed her hand on Yuri's shoulder

"Yeah unnie"
"Im sure Jessica unnie will feel better"
"I've a feeling that a heart donor will appear soon" grinned YoonA confidently

"Yeah trust YoonA"
"Her sixth sense are pretty accurate" added Sooyoung with a smile
"So there might really be a heart donor soon"
"Dont feel so dejected Yuri"

"I hope so.." sighed Yuri as she caressed Jessica's pale cheeks with her hands, feeling the warmth from Jessica's unsubsiding fever.
"I just hope, the fever dont burn her brain.."
"She's smart to begin with, but the fever doesnt want to go away from her.." explained Yuri sadly

"Well, then YoonA&I will at least try to make it to a lower grade fever?" offered Sooyoung kindly

"Yeah!"
"We will!" said YoonA happily as she skipped to the kitchen&back up within minutes with a bowl of ice water&towel in her hands.
"Medicine dont work, than lets try the traditional one" winked YoonA

"Wah"
"YoonA-ah, you're here for less than a day&you managed to get all these?" asked Sooyoung amused

"Nope!" giggled YoonA
"I went downstairs, fumbling around the kitchen for it"
"Then butler lee came in and asked me what was i looking for"
"I told him&he got it for me instead" explained YoonA as she placed the bowl of ice water on the side table, twisting the towel from it.
"Brrr~ Its really ice cold" commented YoonA while she put the towel on Jessica's forehead while Sooyoung took another to wipe her body to help cool Jessica's temperature down.

"Cold.."
"Yul.. its cold.." whined Jessica from her sleep
"Dont.."

"Ops"
"She can feel it unnie" said YoonA innocently

"Obviously right" said Sooyoung as she knocked on YoonA's head
"Dumb"

"Hey!"
"Thats because you've been knocking on my head so often thats why im so dumb now!" defended YoonA annoyingly

"Im cold Yul.." said Jessica as she slowly stir from her sleep

"Dont worry Sica"
"Im here, they're just wiping your body with the cold towel to make you feel better" smiled Yuri
"Bear with it awhile okay?"

Jessica just nodded weakly with a pained expression as YoonA&Sooyoung wiped her body with the cold towel while Jessica shiver in coldness.

"Really very cold?" asked Yuri worriedly as she looked at Jessica who was shivering badly

"Annniiyyyaaa.." chattered Jessica with a weak smile
"Itsss still beeeaaaraaabbbleee.."
"Doonnttt wwoorrrryy.." lied Jessica

The truth is, Jessica was feeling really uncomfortable.
She was really cold at every touch of the towel.
Because of her high temperature, the towel turns hot within minutes&the two has to twist with the cold water again to wipe Jessica's body.

"Sica, if its very cold"
"You can tell me"
"I'll let them stop" said Yuri worriedly as her heart ache as the shivering Jessica, eyes closed, bearing all the uncomfortness in it.

"Yeah, we can stop&continue later when you're feeling better unnie" agreed YoonA
"And oh yeah, we've yet to introduced ourselves" said YoonA while wiping Jessica's body over&over again
"Anyeonghaeseyo Jessica unnie, im the maknae here"
"Im YoonA imnida" smiled YoonA

"Choi Sooyoung imnida"
"We're the shikshins Yuri has been feeding" joked Sooyoung a little to ease the tense atmosphere

"Ohhh, anyeeeeooonghhhaesseeeyyooo.."
"Jjjessssiiicaaa Juuunggg.. immmnidaaa.." chattered Jessica weakly
"Itsss.. ookkaayy.. ii.. caaannn beeaaar.. witthhh.. itt.." said Jessica with a weak smile

"Aish!"
"YoonA&Sooyoung just stop it" exasperated Yuri as she couldnt bear to see Jessica shiver anymore
"Just do it later, she's cold" said Yuri with a pained expression on her face

"Okay sure Yuri/unnie" replied the two shikshins in unison

After the two shikshin left the room, Jessica turned to Yuri weakly.

"Why did you push them away Yul..?"
"Im fine.. really.."
"If that could.. help my body aches&.. headaches.."
"Im okay.. with the cold.." said Jessica sadly

"No you're not Sica"
"We're not even sure if its gonna help it"
"We're just trying our luck only" explained Yuri sadly
"But i hope it will work though"

"Im sure.. it will.." smiled Jessica weakly as she held onto Yuri's hands
"Dont worry.."

"Do you want some food Sica?"
"I've cooked some for you" offered Yuri

"Sure.."
"Im hungry.." lied Jessica as she didnt want Yuri's effort go down the drain

"Really?!"
"Okay! I'll be back in a minute!" said Yuri happily as she ran out of the room&down the kitchen after hearing that Jessica's hungry

Within minutes, she back up in Jessica's room with a bowl of porridge in her hands.

"Here, come" said Yuri as she helped Jessica to sit up
"Ahhh" instructed Yuri as she fed Jessica small mouthful of porridge
"How is it?"
"Nice?"

Jessica nodded lightly, with a forced smile while she tried to keep the food down although her stomach was turning upside down on the inside.
After a few mouthful of porridge, Jessica gave a weak smile&motioned to Yuri that she's full, didnt want it anymore.
Yuri nodded with a satisfied smile&just went out of the room to put down the bowl.
Immediately after Yuri went out, Jessica fumbled over to the other side of the room&started throwing up everything into the bin.

"Ughh.." groaned Jessica as she leaned against the side of the bed exhausted.

"Yah Sica-ah!" called Yuri worriedly as she rushed to Jessica's side&picked her up back onto the bed
"What happened?!"

"Nothing.."
"Its okay.. Yul.."
"You dont.. have to worry.." replied Jessica tiredly

"How can i?!"
"You're throwing up again right?!" asked Yuri sternly
"Maybe i shouldnt have fed you so much" muttered Yuri guitily as she blamed herself for making Jessica to throw up

"Hey.."
"Dont.. i wanted.. to eat it.."
"Remember..?"

"But i shouldnt let you even eat so much!"
"I should let you eat little by little!" said Yuri with an annoyed look

"No.. it isnt.. your fault.. Yul.."
"I dont like.. you to blame.. yourself.." said Jessica with an angry look

Yuri said nothing but just sighed sadly as she walked out of the room, with Sooyoung&YoonA entering minutes later.
Over the past weeks, although Jessica's body didnt get better, but her emotional health got better after Yuri came back to her,
while Sooyoung&YoonA cheered&entertained her throughout the weeks.

One day, while Yuri was back in her room resting after switching shifts with Sooyoung&YoonA,
Yuri received a call from the hospital.

*PHONE CALL*

"Yoboseyo"

"Is this Ms Jessica's guardian?"

"Ah yes"
"May i know who is this?"

"Im a representative from the heart transplant centre"
"We have a good news for you that theres a heart available for Ms Jessica"
"So we're calling to see if you all are still waiting for it"
"If not, we'll pass it to the one on the 2nd of the waiting list" informed the representative

"Oh really?!"
"Are you doing some kind of prank call?!" exclaimed Yuri as she shot up from the bed

"Im not"
"Im serious, if you think im doing some kind of prank call"
"I'll pass the opportunity to the 2nd of the waiting list" said the representative a little irritated

"Aniyo aniyo!"
"Kamshahamnida!"
"We'll accept the offer, when can we perform the heart transplant surgery?" asked Yuri excitedly

"As soon as possible"
"Maybe tomorrow?"
"I can book you a surgery for tomorrow"
"But you have to be sure you can check Ms Jessica in tonight" said the representative

"No problem!"
"I will bring her in now"
"Thank you so much!" said Yuri sincerely
"I'll see you later!"

*END OF PHONE CALL*

"YES!"
"Finally!" exasperated Yuri happily as she dashed into Jessica's room, leaving Sooyoung&YoonA, as well as Jessica shocked at Yuri's sudden cheerfulness/
"SICA AH!!" exclaimed Yuri as she pull Jessica into a tight embrace
"You're saved!"
"You're gonna be free from all these soon!" smiled Yuri as she kissed Jessica's cheeks

"What..?"

"Im mean you're gonna be free!"
"You know, no more chest pain forever!" cheered Yuri happily

"Why..?"

YoonA&Sooyoung just looked at each other with confused look.

"Because there's a heart for you!"
"We'll be getting you the surgery tomorrow!"
"So lets go to the hospital now!!" cheered Yuri as she quickly motioned the dazed shikshins to help get everything off Jessica.

While they were removing everything from Jessica, Jessica sat there dazed.

"Are.. you serious.. Yul..?" asked Jessica unbelievably

"Of course i am!"
"Who do you think im trying to kid?"
"I wont want to play jokes on your health Sica!"

"Wow.." was all Jessica could say because she still couldnt believe what she heard.

All she thought was she's just waiting for her time to be up.
Nothing more.
But a miracle had happened, to her&Yuri.

Jessica's POV

It must be you right omma?
You're still loving me, looking over me from the heaven right?
You still dont want me to join you right?
Thanks a lot, omma.

At the hospital

After Yuri got Jessica checked into the hospital, YoonA&Sooyoung were given a few days to rest before coming back to the hospital to take care of Jessica after her surgery.
In the private hospital ward, Yuri held onto Jessica's hands with teary eyes.

"See?"
"I told you right, Sica?"
"We'll fight through this"
"Look, we're going to be happy after this"
"Especially you" said Yuri as she wiped her tears
"I told you, you didnt even have to break up with me"

"Thanks Yul.."
"Im sorry.. for initiating the break up.."
"I was just.. not confident.. of being able.. to wait till..."
"this day.. to come.." said Jessica sadly

"Nevermind!"
"But after this surgery, i'll definitely marry you!" cheered Yuri happily
"And we'll be like those fairytale stories"
"Happily every after.."
"The end!"

"Araesso.."
"Have you.. told my dad..?" asked Jessica suddenly

"Oh, i've told butler lee to inform your dad"
"He should be here anytime soon or probably due to the flight"
"He might arrive the next day which is probably after your surgery" said Yuri
"But dont worry, he'll be here when you wake up" smiled Yuri assuringly

Yuri couldnt stop grinning at the fact that her Jessica was going to recover,
getting a heart transplant soon.
It was too good to be real.

"Thanks.. Yul.."
"Im tired.. can i sleep.. first..?" asked Jessica with a yawn

"Of course you can!"
"You'll have to get more energy because once you've recoverd"
"I wont, let you rest"
"You're gonna pay everything back!" grinned Yuri evily

"Araesso.." replied Jessica tiredly as she closed her eyes&fell into deep slumber.
