When Jessica&Yuri was 7 years old

"Ms Jessica"
"Are you sure you wanna go to school?"
"The doctor recommends you plenty of bed rest" said the butler who was taking care of Jessica since the departure of Jessica's mum.

"Yup, im okay"
"I wanna go school, i wanna look for Yuri"
"I can only play with her in school but not at appa's indoor swimming pool" said Jessica innocently

"Okay Ms Jessica"
"If thats what you want, we'll send you to school then" smiled the butler as he went out to prepare a chaffeur for Jessica

Upon reaching their elementary school, Jessica was welcomed by a fairly-tanned tall girl with a huge bear hug&a wide grin on her face.

"Anyeong Sica!" cheered Yuri happily
"You're still hot, are you still sick?"

"Yup just a little fever" smiled Jessica
"I missed you, Yuri!"

"I missed you too, Sica!"
"Kaja! Lets go for class already!" said Yuri

The two besties who met each other when Yuri was training in the pool while Jessica who was sitting alone in the audience seat at the pool looking at all the swimmers 'cause she felt really lonely at home.
Yuri who saw Jessica sitting alone approached her, talked to her&eventually became great friends.

"Sica-ah"
"If you're feeling super unwell"
"Tell me okay?" whispered Yuri who was sitting beside Jessica in class

"KWON YURI!"
"Stop talking when im teaching!" snapped the teacher angrily which made Jessica giggled.

"Yah!"
"Im concern about you yet you're laughing at me"
"Thats not how best friends should be Sica!" pouted Yuri

"Okayokay, im sorry"
"And i'll tell you when im feeling unwell okay?" smiled Jessica sweetly

"Okay good"

During their class break, Yuri&Jessica was sitting in the classroom, chatting with each other when Yuri suddenly held up her hands&caressed Jessica's cheeks.

"Yuri..?"

"Sica-ah.."
"Dont fall sick anymore okay..?"
"You're falling sick so often this few months.." said Yuri worriedly as she observed the petite girl's pale face.
"Because of you sick, you're so much thinner now.."
"Im worried for you ah Sica.."

"Hmm..?"
"Dont worry Yuri-ah!"
"Im thinner because i missed you after getting confined to my room!"
"Cant even go out&look for you!" whined Jessica cutely

"Hahas"
"Really?"
"Sica-ah, i'll study hard&be your doctor next time okay?"
"To take care of you&make you feel better whenever you're feeling under weather!" said Yuri proudly

"Okay!"
"Next time if im sick, Yuri will be my only personal doctor okay?"
"You cant be any other people's personal doctor okay?"

"Okay!"
"Of course i wont!"
"Im here for the one&only Sica!" promised Yuri with a wide grin on her face.

But days after days, Jessica's fever didnt go down&started to have nosebleeds.
Jessica's private doctor then started doing tests on Jessica&tried informing her father about her condition but her father just ignored everything.
Only Jessica's butler were taking care of her, looking after her.

"Ms Jessica"
"Here's your medicine" informed the butler as he entered her room with a tray.

"Butler Lee"
"Can you call Yuri for me?"
"I missed her, i wanna see her" pouted Jessica with puppy eyes.

"Okay Ms Jessica"
"I'll help you get Yuri here when i go&look for Mr Jung at his office later"

"Why look for appa?"

"To let him know your condition?"

"Dont bother about it.."
"Appa will never care about me.." said Jessica sadly with her head looking down
"Even if you tell him, he's going to blame me for being so sickly"
"So can you just get Yuri here for me?"
"Yuri will make me feel better" smiled Jessica sweetly

"Okay, i'll do it right away"

"Thanks"

"My pleasure, Mr Jessica" bowed the butler before leaving the room

An hour later, Jessica was awaken by the knock on her door.
Entering the room was the person she wanted to see the most, Yuri.

"Sica-ah!"
"Why are you sick again?"
"For so many days already!" exclaimed Yuri as she sat on Jessica's bed

"I dont know Yuri"
"I dont like to be sick"
"The doctors did some tests on me"
"See, i even have this on my hand!" said Jessica as she showed the infus on her right hand to Yuri
"They put this in my hands, so painful!"

"Really?"
"Let me give it a kiss&it wont hurt anymore okay?" replied Yuri innocently as she really kissed Jessica's right hand.
"So does it still hurt after my healing kiss?" grinned Yuri widely

"Nope it doesnt hurt anymore!"
"I love you Yuri!" said Jessica happily as she hugged onto Yuri tightly

"Pabo-ah Sica!"
"Hehe"
"Have you eaten your medicine?" asked Yuri

"Yup i did"
"But it didnt make me feel any better though" sighed Jessica sadly
"Yesterday, the doctors came&did some test on me"
"They had this weird machine that can see my heart through a little device that was placed above my chest"
"They claimed that it can see my heart, but i dont see it at all"
"The doctors also took tubes of blood out of me"
"Yuri-ah, do you think i will die?"
"Looks so serious!"

"Ani!"
"How can my Sica die?"
"You're only 7 years old this year!"
"You cant die before me!" exclaimed Yuri

"I was just kidding Yuri-ah!"
"Yuri you're so cuteeeeeeeeee~" teased Jessica as she pinched Yuri's chubby cheeks.

Days later, the report for Jessica's mysterious fever were out.
It was concluded that Jessica's been diagnosed with rheumatic fever.
And the sad thing was, Jessica's heart valve had been damaged by the bacteria that came together with the fever.
Jessica who heard the news didnt know what was wrong, but only heard it as very serious.

"Ms Jessica"
"We suggest you to go for a heart valve surgery" said the doctors seriously

"Yup Ms Jessica"
"Go for the surgery, i'll tell Mr Jung"

"Nope, nevermind its okay"
"Im fine already" smiled Jessica
"I dont want any surgery butler lee"
"Anyway, appa wouldnt bother if im dead or alive"
"Let me go out&play with Yuri instead!" pleaded Jessica as she tugged butler lee's shirt.

"Sorry doctors"
"I'll discuss with her father first"

"Okay sure"
"But in order not to let her have a relapse of the rheumatic fever, please let her consume this antibiotics over the year" instructed the doctors.

"Okay will do"

At the swimming pool where Yuri had her usual training everyday, Jessica was sitting at the audience seat again waiting for Yuri's training to end while admiring her perfect poses for all her different swimming .
Soon, Yuri's training came to an end.
Yuri then quickly ran to Jessica's side&sat beside her.

"Sica-ah"
"You've finally recovered!"
"Took you long enough!" cheered Yuri happily to see her best friend back to her healthy self
"What went wrong?"

"Yuri-ah"
"The doctors said i had rheumatic fever"
"Thats why my fever didnt go off because the antiobiotics they gave didnt work on it"
"And during that time when i've been given the wrong antibiotics, the bacteria had attacked my heart valve&spoiled it" said Jessica

"Whats a heart valve?" asked Yuri innocently

"I dont know too"
"They just sounded so serious"
"And i had to be on antiobiotics for a year to prevent the relapse of the rheumatic fever" explained Jessica

Of course, at the age of only 7,
how could they possibly know whats a heart valve&how serious could a rheumatic fever be.

"Is it serious then?"

"Maybe? Maybe not?"
"I dont know too"
"But now im good" smiled Jessica
"Im always good as long as im with my Yuri!"

"Pabo Sica!"
"So does your dad knows about it?"

"Nope, appa doesnt even want to be bothered with me"
"So i guess he probably doesnt know"
"Even if he does, he would be blaming me for being so sickly"

"Oh.."

"Im going to study hard, be your personal heart doctor okay!" smiled Yuri

Although i dont know whats a rheumatic fever,
whats a heart valve,
whats so serious about Sica's condition.
But im going to study hard&be her personal doctor to make her feel better!

"Yuri-ah, you're really leaving me?" pouted Jessica

"Sica-ah, its only for 4 years"
"Since im on a scholarship, i have credits exemption from lots of modules"
"4 years&i'll be back" said Yuri with an assuringly smile
"Till then, take good care of yourself okay Sica?"
"Dont make me come back&see you in the hospital!" instructed Yuri as she landed a soft knock on Jessica's head

"I'll try Yuri"
"Yuri-ah, you're mine okay?"
"Dont, dont, dont ever leave me"
"Or you'll really see me on the hospital bed fighting with the death god!" threatened Jessica

"YAH! JESSICA JUNG!"
"DONT SAY THAT!" exclaimed Yuri on the verge of tears
"I'll never allow that to happen!"

"Then dont come back with someone new&leave me!" said Jessica

Just then, Yuri pulled Jessica into a deep embrace.
Tears were dripping on each others' back.
The both of them cant imagine how life would be like without each other's company.

"Yuri, i love you"
"I'll miss you.." whispered Jessica sadly into Yuri's ears

"I'll miss you too Sica.."
"Wait for me to come back.."
"Dont.. dont do anything that would worsen your condition okay..?"
"You already had 2 heart surgery already.."

"I'll try.."
"But you know.. appa wants me to help him handle the matters at the company.."

"I got to go already Sica.."
"I love you" whispred Yuri into Jessica's ears before breaking away from the hug.

While Yuri was entering the departure hall, Jessica shouted,

"KWON YURI!"
"SKYPE ME EVERYDAY!"
"I'LL WAIT FOR YOU TILL YOU'RE ON~!"

Yuri didnt shout anything back in return but just waved to Jessica cooly with her back facing Jessica.

4 Years later

Jessica had finished her business studies&officially took over her fathers' company matters as the vice CEO.
While her father manages the business overseas, he threw everything to Jessica to take care&would call back&scold her if she did anything that didnt satisfy his expectations.
While working hard in the office, someone entered Jessica's office.
But Jessica was so engrossed in all the work that was spreaded on her table&didnt notice anyone entering her room.

"Uh-uh"
"This looks wrong"
"This is not right way to take care of yourself when i told you to before i leave for UK"

Jessica's head shot up immediately to see the tall, fairly-tanned girl standing right infront of her with a disapproving look.

"Yuri..?"
"You're back?!"
"OMONA!" exclaimed Jessica happily as she stood up, wanting to throw Yuri a hug but fail because she almost tripped over the files that were lying on the floor.

"See?"
"Whats with all the taking care of yourself well you said in Skype Sica?"
"You're making me worry even more now that i've seen you in this state" scolded Yuri who helped Jessica up from the floor

"Im really taking care of myself well!" protested Jessica

"Now lets see.."
"How many times did you have a frequent heart attack averagely per month?"

"Im going to ask butler lee~"

"Ermm.. rate of 0.5?"

"Whats butler lee's number..?" said Yuri while looking through her phone contacts

"Yuri-ah, dont do this to me~"

"Im back from UK, i want to check with you about our Sica's condition"

"Oh welcome back Ms Kwon"
"Ms Jessica's condition is not really good"

"Whats her average monthly heart attack rate?"

"Around 1-1.5"

"Thanks butler lee"
"Im gonna screw this young lady here!"

"Your 0.5 equals to butler lee's 1-1.5?" questioned Yuri suspiciously

"I hate you, Yuri!" pouted Jessica angrily
"You just came back&started checking up on me!"

"I cant help it, im worried for my Sica" smirked Yuri
"So tell me, have you been going for the treatments given to you regularly?"
"Honest answer please, if not im going to call butler lee again"

"Err.."

"Sica.."
"Dont.. LIE"

"Fine i did okay?"
"Its just that sometimes i cant make it so i skipped it!" exasperated Jessica

"Sica-ah!"
"How can you take your health like a joke!"

"Yuri-ah, if you're gonna continue talking about me"
"Im calling the security guards to bring you out" said Jessica as she threw Yuri her famous death glare that she had it since she were young.

"It doesnt pay to be kind!" said Yuri who pretended to be mad at Jessica

"I just dont like to be questioned like this"
"At least i kept my promise&didnt let you find me in the hospital bed when you're back" smiled Jessica apologetically after glaring&threatening Yuri for throwing her out.
"But shouldnt you be back only next week?" asked Jessica as she got back her seat to continue with the work.

"Well" started Yuri as she settled herself comfortably on the sofa in Jessica's room.
"I came back for someone as i rushed all my work&got an earlier graduation than the others"
"Cause i was worried for someone but it turned out that that person didnt really appreciate my kindness" said Yuri sacarstically
"And now look, that someone is even ignoring me~"

"Yuri-ah!"
"What do you want me do~?"
"Dont do this to me, Yuri-ah!"
"I really appreciate your concern for me!"
"Really!" said Jessica, trying to explain herself as much as possible.

"If you really appreciated my thoughts"
"Come&have dinner with me"
"Im starving after the long flight"

"Yuri-ah, give me 5minutes while i pack things up okay?" smiled Jessica

"5 minutes!"
"No more no less!"

5 minutes later, Jessica&Yuri were leaving the office.
Yuri left the office pulling her luggage while Jessica left the office with her huge bag of documents.
But Yuri werent too happy about Jessica bringing her work home 'cause Yuri knew Jessica needed more rest but couldnt say anything much.

At a Korean restaurant that was near their office, Yuri were enjoying the food.
It was the first out of the 4 years of life in UK, her Korean meal.

"Delicious right Yuri?" asked Jessica after seeing how much Yuri were enjoying the food.

"Yup!"
"Taste so much better than those western food over there at UK" complained Yuri with filled with food.

"YAH YURI-AH!"
"Eat slowly! Dont choke!" scolded Jessica

"I wont!"

"Sometimes i really wonder if you're a doctor.." mumbled Jessica

"I am a doctor!"
"A cardiologist okay!"
"A cardiologist that specializes only on Jessica Jung Sooyeon's heart!"

"Okayokay i get it i get it!"
"Anyway, Yuri, appa says you'll come back as a full time swimmer for him"
"And enter competitions for him, right?"

"Yup i did promise him that"
"But i also told him i'll be a part time doctor too"
"He agreed" replied Yuri, almost blabbering since was filled with food.

"Oh, so when are you going to start?" asked Jessica

"Omona!"
"Sica-ah, you're seriously the company's vice-CEO!"
"Talk like one when it comes to business!" exclaimed Yuri

"Ops, cant help it"
"So..?"

"I'll come back whenever you're in the office" said Yuri

"So i'll take it as tomorrow?"
"I'll be in the offce everyday"

"Okay, tomorrow then"

"Anyway Yuri-ah"
"Our company recruited lots of potential swimmers recently"
"You wanna try training with them?"

"Hahs, potential swimmers?"
"What if i lose to them?"
"I've been practicing&training during my stay in UK"
"But i dont know how your side has been training" said Yuri nonchalently as she continued to grab all the food on the table.

"Oh?"
"If you want, you can still try"
"I've got confidence in you" assured Jessica

"Oh okay"
"Anything as long as you'll be with me" giggled Yuri

AHHH~
Korean food!
I missed it so much!
But not as much as Sica!
I missed Sica so much that its beyond words that can describe.

I'll take care of you&make you feel better!

After finishing their dinner, Jessica brought Yuri back to her mansion to live with her.
First, because her mansion is too empty&she doesnt want Yuri to stay apart from her.
Second, because Yuri has now became her personal doctor as promised since 15 years ago.
Third, because if Yuri's too far away from her, she'll miss her.

"Yuri-ah, here's your room"
"Right beside mine!" smirked Jessica proudly as she opened the room door for Yuri.

"Wah!"
"Gomawo Sica-ah!"
"You're the best, had my room decorated so nicely!" cheered Yuri happily as she walked around the nicely decorated room with photos of herself, Jessica&the both of them.

"Of course im the best!"
"Where can you find someone better than me!"

"Omo!"
"Sica-ah! You actually forgot the word that was taught when we were young?"
"The word - 'Humble'?" teased Yuri playfully

"Nope, its that it never existed in my dictionary when it comes to Kwon Yuri's compliments&praises" grinned Jessica widely

"Come over here Sica" said Yuri as she motioned Jessica to sit down beside her on the bed while Yuri grabbed something out of her bag.
"Here, this is for you"

"Whats this?" asked Jessica as she opened the box
"Oooo"
"Its a bracelet"

"Yup, i had it custom made"
"I have one too" said Yuri as she shook her hands that were wearing the bracelet.
"Mine has a stethescope pendant on it"
"While yours had pills on it"

"Why does my have pills?!"
"And yours with that nice stethescope!"

"Because you're now my patient!"
"I'll tie you up with me!" said Yuri as a matter-of-factly

"Its unfair!"

"Life's never fair"
"Dont want it?"
"Okay" said Yuri as she took back the bracelet.

"Wait!"
"Whats given cannot be taken back!"
"Dont you know that?" grumbled Jessica as she snatched the bracelet back from Yuri&wore it on her wrist immediately.

"You know Sica"
"Once its on, you cant take it off anymore"

"Why?"

"Because i said so"

"Fine fine!"

"Lets take a picture as a proof of you being my first&last only patient!" said Yuri as she grabbed her camera&took a quick snapshot of it.

Then the two girls laid down on the bed, staring into the nicely decorated ceiling that has a sky image on it.

"Yuri-ah"
"I missed you so much over the 4 years even though we Skype everyday.." started Jessica

"I missed you a lot too Sica"
"Or probably much more than a lot thats beyond words that can describe.."
"I was really worried about leaving you alone for 4 years you know.."

"Its alright.."
"Everything's over now Yuri-ah"
"You're back here to take care of me already"

"Yup, i guess so"

"Can i sleep here with you tonight Yuri-ah?"
"Please..?" pouted Jessica cutely at Yuri who melted at her cute pout.

"Araesso araesso"
"Come over here" said Yuri as she spread her arms open for Jessica to lay it in.

With that, Yuri&Jessica slept together for the first night after the separation of the 4 years.
Before Yuri fell asleep, she texted butler lee, asking about Jessica's next medical treatment was when&butler told her it was the day after tomorrow. After knowing that, Yuri made a mental note to herself that by hook or by crook, she'll get Jessica for her regular treatment before falling into deep slumber with Jessica.
