A week has passed by. You had finished packing. Baekhyun still haven't found out about you moving, while the others knew. Chanyeol continued to get Baekhyun to go to the cafe to work. He didn't want to leave you at home all alone. But you insisted.
You walked into your new apartment with Sehun behind you with your suitcase. He looked around. "Whoa! This is noona's new place? Can I live here?!" he asked and looked around.
You chuckled at his cuteness. "As much as noona would be happy to have you as a roommate, noona would have to decline."
He pouted. "Why?!" he asked.
You giggled and shook your head, taking your suitcase. "Thanks, Sehun, you can go home now," you said.
He pouted. "Okay, bye noona! Visit often!" he said and left, leaving you there with a faint smile.

As much as you were happy that you finally had a new home, you also felt sad that you had to be away from Baekhyun. Lying to him about going to extra classes at the university.
You looked around and realized that you would soon feel lonely. No company. No Aesook. And no Mr. Bacon. Yes, you did miss him and his smiling new face. But knew that it was best for him. He couldn't be around you forever trying to protect you. He was a grown man. He needed to find a girl who would make his life better than it was now. Yous sighed. *But I have to tell him sometime.* With one last sigh, you went into your room and laid on your bed.

You closed your eyes.

"You're one grumpy Bacon aren't you?" you said.
Baekhyun stopped walking. He turned around to face you and bent down to your eye level. "What did you just call me?"

You weren't scared of him this time. "That's right, Bacon. I called you Bacon! BACON BACON BACON!" you said and stuck your tongue at him.
His expression didn't change. "Do you really want to go there?" he asked, coldly.
You suddenly stopped and shook your head.

Baekhyun turned back around and continued to walk to a different section of animals. You followed behind.
You both had entered the Arctic animals. You tilted your head and watched the penguins slide down their bellies down an ice mountain. "Why can't penguins fly like other birds?" you asked.

Baekhyun looked at you. "Why are you asking a stupid question like that?" he said, coldly.
"I'm just wondering, I mean, penguins are birds, but they can't fly..." Baekhyun sighed and walked to a different section, leaving you behind. "Hey, wait up!" you said and ran up to catch up with him.

Your eyes shot opened. You shook your head and facepalmed yourself. *No. Stop. Move onto worrying about your life now. No one is going to help you anymore.* You closed your eyes once more.

"Yeollie," you said.
He looked at you. "Yes?"
You hesitated. "Do you know why... Baekhyun is always so grumpy and cold?" you asked.

He nodded. "I've known him long enough to know why..."
"Then, why is he?" you asked.
He hesitated as he tried to answer. At last, he sighed. "His mom left him when he was just a baby. His dad and grandparents died in a car crash, he was the only one who survived. And he was adopted by the worst parents that you could know of. The only people he actually cares about is his friends. Even though he seems mean, but he can be a really careful and joyful guy. He doesn't smile or laugh a lot, nor does he show much emotions, but he's really nice once you get to know him."

"Has he ever smiled?" you asked.
"A couple... He used to smile a lot around his ex, Hyuna."
Your eyes widen. "H-Hyuna?!" Chanyeol nodded. "Is there anything that makes him smile?"

Chanyeol thought about it. "I rarely see him smile. But all I know is that he smiles a lot when he's with close ones. He used to smile at cute things that people do... And aeygos. He smiles when Hyuna used to call him oppa. And he did used to have a dog once... He was really happy until he ran away." Silence. "He's a very sensitive person than you think. He looks like a strong person, but underneath all that, is full of sensitivity." He gently smiled and looked at your bowl of soup. "A-are you finished?" You nodded. "I'll clean up then. Why don't you go upstairs and rest."

Your eyes furrowed. You opened your eyes once more. You sighed and got out of bed. *It's still early. Might as well start looking for a job.* You got into your jacket and walked outside into the streets.

Baekhyun sighed, laying in his bed, wondering if you would come home early from the night classes. He rolled onto his side and unlocked his phone. There you were. As his phone wallpaper. A smiling face of the real Kang Hyemi. He grinned and closed his eyes. 

"Aish, this girl," you heard a guys voice. You couldn't recognize it under the rain and thunder, but you knew that his words were said with harsh. A jacket was wrapped around you, rain stopped dropping down on your face. The guy put the umbrella down, and carried you, bridal style. You twitched from the pain when he touched you. The guy walked down the street with you in his arms. You tried to open your eyes. Everything looked blurry. "Stop moving, it'll hurt even more. I'll get you home, don't worry," he told.

He looked back at you and softly smiled. *When ever you're hurt. I'll take care of you. Like how you're taking care of me....* Baekhyun sighed as a soft smile appeared on his face everytime he looked at you.

He grinned and rolled onto the other side of the bed.

You were outside at a park, walking around with Baekhyun and Aesook. Baekhyun held onto Aesook's leash while you walked around freely. You couldn't help but continue to look at the new Baekhyun. Well, somewhat new.

"Staring at my handsomeness huh?" he asked.
You blinked and came back to reality. "N-No!"
He scoffed. "Right."

You looked at him carefully. Baekhyun stopped walking and looked at you. "Why do you keep looking at me like that?" he asked.
You walked around him, looking at him from head to toe. "Hmm.. You're less colder towards me... You somewhat smiling.... You seem happier... You're closer to Aesook even though you didn't want her before... And you're... Talking to me... Without insults and you're joking..." You squinted your eyes and pointed at him. He blinked in response. "I.. Like the new Bacon!!!" you shouted and hugged him.

Baekhyun's eyes widen. *WHAT THE HELL IS SHE DOING?!* Baekhyun pulled away and looked at you. "What the hell was that for?!"
You giggled. "A hug! For the new you!" Baekhyun's face started to color.
He looked at you once more. "D-don't do that anymore to me," he said.
"Awww~ And you're even showing your sensitive side!!!" You hugged him again.

He chuckled at the memory of his first hug from you

"Ooh! A shooting star!" you said and pointed at the sky. Right away, you put your hands together and closed your eyes, making a wish.
Baekhyun laughed. You looked at him. "What did you wish for?" he asked.
You looked at him and pretended to zip your mouth. "Secret!" you said. Baekhyun looked at you, making you uncomfortable. You blinked. "Can you please stop looking at me like that?"
"Same thing that I wanted to say, the other in the park when you kept looking at me," he said. "But I'm not going to stop until you tell me what you wished for."
You pouted and sighed. "Fine, I wished that Mr. Grumpy Bacon will forever have a smiling, happy face. Like for the past week," you said and smiled cutely.

Baekhyun couldn't help but smile. You looked at him. "What did Mr. Bacon wish for?" you asked.
He grinned and motioned you to come foreword. "...Secret," he said. You glared at him and pouted. "And there's nothing you can do to make me tell you," he said.
You continued to pout. "Fine, be that way then."
You phone vibrated. It was Sehun. 'Noona! I'm tired. So I'm leaving with Kai! You have fun with Baekhyun hyung! But not too much fun. If anything happens I'm kidnapping noona and I will never let you go! Mwahaha!' the text said. You chuckled. Baekhyun peeked at your phone, reading the message. He grinned.

The ride finally ended. You and Baekhyun slowly walked off the ride. "I'm hungry. Want to eat?" Baekhyun asked. You nodded.
So, you both got hot dogs and ate them on the way home on the bus. You exhaled of exhaustion and shuddered.
Baekhyun looked at you. "You cold?"
You nodded. "But it's nothing to worry about."
But Baekhyun ignored you, taking off his jacket and draped it around you. You looked at him. "You might catch a cold," he said.
"But--"
"I'll be fine," he said. You sighed and pouted.

You both have been on the bus for an hour. It takes at least 2 hours to get to Chanyeol's home. Baekhyun looked out the window, realizing that he hadn't been outside of Chanyeol's house a lot. And tonight was the most special night of all. He grinned at the memory of what happened earlier at Lotte World. He suddenly felt a light weight on his shoulder. He looked to his right and saw that you fallen asleep. He chuckled to himself and lightly knocked your head back. *You pabo.*

His smile faded and he slowly leaned forward towards you. He looked at your closed eyes and back to your pink lips. He leaned closer. Then, sparks fly. He kissed you softly on the lips. Luckily, there was no one around where you two sat. He leaned back and cleared his throat, taking your hand. He softly smiled and looked out the window. *Definitely. The. Best night of my whole life.*

He drifted off to sleep, with a smile on his face. Throughout the whole night, he had been thinking of you. And only you.
