You Make Me Feel SafeIt was a gradual change. During the next year, Jonghyun’s presents came slower. Instead of once a week it was more once a month, then once every few months. His texts no longer came everyday. After their 8th date, Jonghyun never asked Key out again. He never wanted to take selcas with Key anymore nor stole kisses. But he still showed skinship. A lot more though, and rough. Jonghyun forced him to do things he didn’t want to, but Key was scared to say anything.
The first time when things got really weird, Key had confronted Jonghyun.
“Why don’t you text me or give me presents anymore Jjong?” Key wondered. Even though the change was gradual, he still saw it happen.
“You’re getting a bit selfish and over confident aren’t you Key? You can’t expect me to always buy you stuff.” Jonghyun had replied with a scoff.
Key was affronted. Jonghyun never talked to him like that before. Since he was very sensitive, he couldn’t control the tears slipping down as he wondered where the sweet Jonghyun went. When Jonghyun noticed he just scoffed again and left saying that he hated people who cried over nothing. This just made Key cry more. He was so confused. Why did this happen? Had he done something wrong?
Everything changed that day. The love, happiness and safety – Key no longer felt that from Jonghyun. All he felt was coldness and insecurity.
