2436 days has passed ever since the world saw G-DRAGON performed on BIGBANG's very own Last Dance concert in Seoul on New Years Eve 2018. Finally, after some convincing from his fellow bandmate who's holding a solo concert after 7 years whose none other than the Sun himself, Jiyong finally decided that it's time for his old friend to be awoken from his long slumber. After almost 7 years of very deep slumber, the world would finally witnessed the reawakening of a dragon on the second and final day of Taeyang's first solo concert "The Lightyear" in Seoul by performing one of BIGBANG's greatest hits "We Like 2 Party" and also the song that he made with the concert artist as part of their subunit debut single "GOOD BOY" which of course, completely taken the whole music maybe even the entire entertainment industry by storm. You'd think that it's the end, right? Haha, NOPE. Because after so many ing delays later, Jiyong would finally announce to the entire world that his old friend would be coming back in just 3 months from now with an album. Right after his best friend's concert ends, Jiyong couldn't help but feel sad because even though he was very happy to greet his VIP's after almost 7 years, he still has this void inside him. A void that could be only filled by someone instead of something. Someone who's been the main reason why he's ready to return to the industry in the first place. Someone who understands him inside-out and someone who always brings happiness to his abnormal life. Someone whom he tied the knot to right after his military discharge almost 5 years ago. Someone whose currently on the other side of the world performing live in front of thousands of fans. Someone who sees him as the human being named Kwon Jiyong instead of the mythical creature that lives inside of him which only comes out when he was on stage. Someone who's been supporting him through the highs and lows, especially the lows that causes him to fight for his life and innocence which ultimately ended all hopes for a 2023 comeback.

That someone is none other than the singer who collaborated with Sam Smith in celebrating the 10th anniversary for one of his biggest hit "I'm Not The Only One" by releasing a version of the original song featuring her heavenly vocals that's considered one of the greatest voice in the world which was released just 3 days before the dragon's reawakening.
