AT NIGHT

KWON’S MANSION

During the dinner, everyone is happy for Dami and Taeyeon after success with the fashion event. Mr. Kwon praised them and says

“I'm sorry for not attend the event, but... momma said it's extraordinary...”

“It is… I’ll show the pictures later…” Mrs. Kwon said to her husband.

Jiyong keep smiling while take a glance at his wife.

“So, for next season, Taeyeon will still help you?” Mr. Kwon asked Dami.

Dami look at Taeyeon before she reply

“Hmm… well... we should ask her first...”

Taeyeon smiles after Dami said that.

“So, you have any plan? Still want to help Dami?” Mr. Kwon asked Taeyeon.

Taeyeon look at her father-in-law after he asked that. Then, she turns to look at Jiyong.

“I think... I hold that for a while...” Taeyeon replied with smiles.

Mrs. Kwon smiles after Taeyeon answer that and she suddenly asks

“Why? Are you planning for having a baby?”

Taeyeon startled when her mother-in-law asked that.

“Omma…” Jiyong said while shake his head slowly.

“What? I'm just curious... if she decided to not help Dami, perhaps... she has another plan for that...” Mrs. Kwon said with curious.

Taeyeon look at Jiyong uneasy face and then she look at her mother-in-law.

“Yes, eomeoni... you're right... I have my own plan... but, it's not about a baby... at least, not now...” Taeyeon said softly.

“Then, when?” Mrs. Kwon asked.

“Perhaps... after I'm finished with my studied...” Taeyeon replied.

“Studied?” Mrs. Kwon asked with frown.

Taeyeon nodded to respond her.

“Wait… what are you saying?” Jiyong asked with confused.

All of them look at Taeyeon while waiting for her answers.

“Hmm… actually, I have been thinking of this for a long time... after what just happened to my brand recently... I noticed that I'm still lack in many ways. One of it is the way to manage the business... so, I'm planning to gain knowledge of the business management but at the same time, pursue my study in design.” Taeyeon replied to tell her planning.

“Why you didn't tell me about this?” Jiyong asked with uneasy.

“I'm going to tell you later... but, omma already ask it... I just answered her.” Taeyeon replied.

Suddenly, the atmosphere getting awkward after they saw Jiyong uneasy face. Then, Mr. Kwon breaks the silent and says

“Well done... I like your wise thinking... just keep doing what you want to achieve... if you need my help, you may ask me anything about the business... okay, dear?”

“Thank you, abeoji,” Taeyeon replied with smiles.

“Then, I have to wait more…” Mrs. Kwon said slowly but still can be heard by them.

“Hey, we still have Eden here, right?” Mr. Kwon said try to coax his wife.

Mrs. Kwon looks at Eden and she’s smiling.

Meanwhile, at that time, Jiyong can't concentrate after Taeyeon spill her plans.

AT APARTMENT

Along way home, Jiyong remain silent and didn't say single words to Taeyeon. When they're arrived at home, Jiyong went straight into the room, and at the same time, Taeyeon know that her husband is mad at her.

Taeyeon POV

“Am I wrong for this? He's angry because I'm not telling him first? Argh... what should I do?”

Taeyeon went to the kitchen to have water. While she’s sips the drink, her mind is thinking of Jiyong. Then, she decided to let Jiyong cool down first before she can talk to him. Taeyeon went to sit on the couch and turn on the TV. However, no TV show caught her attention. Her heart is restless when Jiyong doesn't pay attention to her.

“Should I talk now?” Taeyeon muttered alone.

In the end, Taeyeon turn off the TV and went into the room. Inside the room, she didn't see Jiyong presence but she heard the shower. Taeyeon went to sit at the edge of bed while waiting for Jiyong to finish his bath.

After few minutes later, Jiyong come out by wearing a towel. He saw Taeyeon is looking at him from the bed. Jiyong keep ignoring her and went to wear his pajama. Taeyeon didn't say anything but her eyes didn't leave Jiyong.

After Jiyong done wearing his pajamas, he went for a bed. Before he lay, Jiyong says

“Turn off the lamp after you're done...”

After he said that, Jiyong lay on the bed while turn on other side to avoid Taeyeon.

Taeyeon feel offended when Jiyong behave like that toward her.

“Jiyong…” Taeyeon call him softly.

However, still no respond from Jiyong.

“Jiyong, I know you’re mad at me… but, please… don’t act like this… talk to me…” Taeyeon continue said with sad.

Yet, there still no respond from Jiyong.

“Seriously, Jiyong? You really want to ignore me?” Taeyeon asked but this time her eyes start to get teary.

Then, Jiyong turn around after he heard Taeyeon voice start to quiver. He saw Taeyeon eyes getting teary while looking at him.

“Please… don’t make me feel bad…” Taeyeon continue after Jiyong didn’t say anything.

Jiyong sigh deeply after he saw his wife sad face.

He gets up from his lay and says

“Hurm… You know I'm weak when I see you sad...”

“Then, speak to me… don’t ignore me like this…” Taeyeon replied with sad.

“What should I say? You have planned everything without telling me... what you want me to react?” Jiyong asked while try to control his disappointed.

“Jiyong, I'm not planning to hide it from you... it's just a plan... and of course, I will let you know first before I'm deciding on something...after all, this involves us... what I'm saying before it's just to answer eomeoni question... please, Jiyong...” Taeyeon replied to explain the truth.

“Okay, I'm sorry to overreact...but, could you please tell me now... why are you planning that? It's just because from the recent incident?” Jiyong asked curiously.

Taeyeon remain silent for a while and then she gets on the bed and sits to face Jiyong. Taeyeon take Jiyong both hands and holding it.

“I know this is so sudden, but... I can't forever depend on you, Jiyong. Honestly, I really...really...really appreciate for what you're done to help me...but not forever I have to rely on your help... I want to be independent, run a business with my hard work and build my brand name proudly. If you always spoil me, how can I improve myself and my abilities?” Taeyeon said try to explain Jiyong her thought.

“… but you’re my wife…” Jiyong replied with gloomy face.

“Yes, I am your wife... but I still want to be a wife that you could be proud of...” Taeyeon said try to persuade Jiyong.

“I’m proud of you…” Jiyong said with serious tone.

“Yes, I know that… but, Jiyong… for me… this is not right…” Taeyeon said softly.

Jiyong didn’t say anything after that.

“Please, Jiyong... let me do something by my own... but, of course, I want you stay beside me... support me... can you do that?” Taeyeon asked before she moves to hold Jiyong face.

Jiyong stare at his wife face and saw Taeyeon eyes are hoping that he will accept her plan. Jiyong sigh slowly before he replies

“Okay, fine. I'll do it...”

Taeyeon smiles and she went to hugs Jiyong tightly.

“I love you, Kwon Jiyong…!” Taeyeon said happily.

Jiyong smiles slightly and reply

“I agree because I love you... please, don't plan something without telling me first...”

Taeyeon nodded and says

“Thank you…”

After that, Taeyeon release the hug and she's kissing Jiyong lips to thank him more.

“You know I can't resist if you're doing this...” Jiyong said after the kiss.

Taeyeon grin teasingly before she went to kiss his lips again. However, this time, Jiyong pull her head closer to deepen the kiss.

MEETING ROOM

All the shareholder discussing the next successor for CEO position. Mr. Kwon named Jiyong as his replacement and there are two names being named by other shareholder. Jiyong remain silent when the others still have doubt on him after Mr. Kwon mentions his name.

“You still want him to replace your position? Are you sure with that decision?” one of them asked Mr. Kwon.
