DANIEL OFFICE

Jiyong enters the office without knocking. Daniel startled after he saw Jiyong furious face while enters his office.

“What do you want?” Daniel asked.

“Shouldn't I'm the one asked you that? Why you're doing this? If you want that land, just ask... you don't have to bother my wife...!” Jiyong replied with furious.

Daniel smirks after he heard that.

“Oh… you’re here because of that? Hmm… Actually, I don't want that land... what I want just you stop that project... can you do that? If you agree, I'll ask Catherine to stop from bothering your wife...” Daniel said his intention.

Jiyong remain silent for a while and then he asks

“Why you want me to stop the project?”

Daniel smirks and he get up from his seat.

“It's simple... it's because I don't want you to be a part of the board director... that CEO position... you know I'm more capable for it...” Daniel replied with honest.

“Just because of that, you're ruining my wife brand? Are you out of your mind? If you're crazy over the CEO position, just take it... I don't care anymore... but, right now, you're excessive! I won't be silent after what you did to my wife...!” Jiyong said with angry.

“Hey, it's not me that ruin her... it's Catherine that plan to do that... I just follow what her plan...” suddenly Daniel said to blame his wife.

Jiyong scoff after Daniel said that.

“Waaaa... I cannot believe this... now you're trying to blame your wife? You two make a mistake here by doing this to my wife...! I don't care anymore what you two want to do... I'll do anything to save her brand...!” Jiyong said with angry.

After that, Jiyong walks out from the office with upset.

Daniel takes his phone and calls his wife after Jiyong left the office.

“Yes?” Catherine answers the call.

“Jiyong already know about the plan... what's next step?” Daniel asked.

“He is? Hmm… then, we have to be careful with his react to this... You know Jiyong... he is capable if he wanted to protect his beloved.” Catherine replied with uneasy.

“It's him same when he's with you before?” suddenly Daniel asked.

Catherine didn’t answer her husband and she reply

“Now, it's your turn to take over him... go and propose your proposal to the investor... you know you have to get the CEO position...!”

“Yes, I know what I should do... and you... make sure this plan succeeded!” Daniel said before he ended the conversation.

After his conversation with Catherine, Daniel starts to feel uneasy.

Daniel POV

“She didn't answer me... did she still have feeling for Jiyong?”

“If that happen, I should kill Jiyong!” Daniel muttered with firm.

Then, he grabs his coat and walks out from the office to meet the investor.

THE LAWYER OFFICE

“Hello… I’m Kim Taeyeon. I’m here looking for Mr. Lim,” Taeyeon said after she saw the staff in the office.

“Mr. Lim? I don't think he's here today. He already went to the court for trial.” The staff replied.

“Hmm… if that so, can I have his numbers? I need it for urgent matter…” Taeyeon said.

The staff nodded and then she takes Mr. Lim card and gives it to Taeyeon.

“Thank you…” Taeyeon said after take the card.

After they left the office, Jaejoong asks

“What you want to do now?”

“I’ll try to contact him first… then, we should ask him about the letter,” Taeyeon replied.

Then, Taeyeon dialed the numbers but, the call went to the voicemail. So, Taeyeon decided to texting the lawyer to ask him for meeting.

“I hope he'll call me back after get this text...” Taeyeon muttered after she sends the text.

“Don’t worry… if he didn’t… we can come here again…” Jaejoong said to comfort her.

Taeyeon nodded.

“Now, what you want to do?” Jaejoong asked.

“Oppa, you don't have to worry about me... you should go... I can handle this...” Taeyeon replied with uneasy after Jaejoong looks so worried about her.

“Are you sure? You know I’ll help you…” Jaejoong said with uneasy.

Taeyeon smiles bitterly and she reply

“I don't want to trouble anyone... I think you should go continue your work... I'll ask help if I want... don't worry... and one more thing, please don't tell Jiwoong oppa about this... Furthermore, I don't want my family to know about this matter...”

Jaejoong sigh and he nodded to answer her.

“I won’t tell Jiwoong… you know you can trust me…” Jaejoong said while pat Taeyeon shoulder.

Taeyeon smiles and thanks to him.

AT NIGHT

AT APARTMENT

Jiyong arrives at home around midnight. After he enters, he saw Taeyeon is sleeping on the couch in living room. Jiyong approach her slowly and he sat on the floor while staring at Taeyeon face with mixed feelings.

“Why you didn’t tell me the truth?” Jiyong muttered while his hand touches Taeyeon cheek gently.

Taeyeon open her eyes and she saw Jiyong there and looking at her. Taeyeon smiles after she saw Jiyong.

“You're late...” Taeyeon said softly before she kisses Jiyong hand on her cheek.

Jiyong didn't say anything but his eyes keep staring at her. Taeyeon noticed Jiyong eyes looks sad and then she opens her arm and says

“Come here…”

Jiyong smiles slightly, and he gets up to get in her embrace. Jiyong rest his head on her chest while Taeyeon hold his head and his hair gently. They stay like that while comforting each other feelings.

“Dear… I want to let you know something...” Jiyong said to break the silent.

“Hmmm…?” Taeyeon said with closed eyes.

“I want to pull out from buying the land...” Jiyong replied slowly.

Taeyeon open her eyes after he said that.

“What?” Taeyeon asked with surprised.

Jiyong get up from her and he says

“I don't want to buy that land anymore...”

Taeyeon get up with surprised after Jiyong said that.

“Why? Why you want to do that? Didn't I ask you not to give up?” Taeyeon asked with firm.

“Then, why you didn't tell me that you get threaten from them? Why you hide that from me?” Jiyong asked with disappointed.

Taeyeon stunned when Jiyong already know about it.

“That’s nothing…” Taeyeon said try to give excuse but Jiyong interrupt her and says

“Nothing? You said that nothing? Yah! They're ruining your brand! The one that you work hard for it...! And now, you're saying it's nothing? What you think am I? Why you have to do this?”

“Jiyong, I'm doing this because I want to protect you... I know how much important that project for you... I don't want them ruin it...” Taeyeon said with sad.

“By ruining your brand?” Jiyong asked with unsatisfied.

“No... I'm not. I can build it again... but you... this project must continue...!” Taeyeon replied with firm.

“No... I'm not doing it!” Jiyong said to against her will.

Then, Taeyeon get up from the couch and says

“Jiyong... what happen to me, it's already happened... it won't change anything if you're stopping your project! So, could you please listen to me? Oh for God’s sake, Jiyong...! Don't let go the project just because of me!”

“…If you can build again your brand, so do I... I can get the land anywhere for this project... but I can't let them ruining your brand like this...” Jiyong replied try to make Taeyeon understand him.

Taeyeon sigh with upset before she went into the room and close the door with angry. Jiyong went to open the door, but Taeyeon already lock it from inside.

“Are you going to react like this to me? Don't you think I'm trying to help you here? Kim Taeyeon! Can you hear me?” Jiyong asked while stand in front of the door.

“I won't open the door unless you're saying you continue with the project!” Taeyeon shout from inside the room with firm.

“Dear... can you open the door?” Jiyong asked with uneasy.

“No…! I won't until you changed your mind!” Taeyeon replied with determined.

Jiyong sigh after he heard that from her. In the end, Jiyong went back to sit on the couch with miserable mind.

Around two o'clock, Taeyeon open the door slowly. Then, she saw Jiyong is sleeping on the couch with his work clothes. Taeyeon eyes start to get teary after she saw her husband like that. Then, she just let the door open before she went back into the bed.
