“Can I lie next to you?” Suddenly Jiyong asked with nervous.

Taeyeon stunned for a while after Jiyong asked that.

“May I?” Jiyong continue asked.

Taeyeon hesitated for a while before she nodded. Jiyong smiles widely before he got up and went to lie next to her.

Jiyong pull Taeyeon into his embrace and he softly says

“I'll go after you sleep...”

Taeyeon smiles in Jiyong embrace and she closes her eyes.

Jiyong pat Taeyeon shoulder softly while he's humming song as lullaby for her.

“Will you act like this after we married?” Taeyeon asked whispering with closed eyes.

“I'll do if you want it...” Jiyong replied.

Taeyeon smiles and she went to hugs Jiyong waist.

Afterward, Jiyong continue to humming and moment later he notices Taeyeon is already in sleep. Jiyong continue looking at her face and then he slowly touches her face.

“Sweet dream…” Jiyong said slowly before he kisses her forehead.

Then, Jiyong carefully move his body from her and get off from the bed. Jiyong pull the comforter to cover up her slowly. After he satisfied, Jiyong leave the room and go back home.

ONE WEEK BEFORE THE WEDDING

AT KWON'S HOTEL

Jiyong is focusing on the technical team who is installing lights in the stage. Then, his phone buzzed as sign incoming message.

I almost arrive :) – Taeyeon

Jiyong smiles after he read the text.

“Mr. Song, can you take care of it here? I need to leave now...” Jiyong said to the worker.

“Sure, Mr. Kwon… don’t worry… I’ll look at them…” Mr. Song replied.

“Update to me later, okay?”Jiyong asked.

Mr. Song nodded to answer him.

Then, Jiyong leave the area with smiles and excited to meet his fiancé.

On that day, they're promised to go booked for their honeymoon trip. Even though there are still choosing the place to go, they still need to prepare it before the wedding.

While waiting for Taeyeon at the hotel lobby, suddenly someone approaches Jiyong from behind.

“Jiyong…?” he greet after saw Jiyong.

When Jiyong turn, he saw Daniel, Catherine's husband, one of the shareholder.

“Hi…” Jiyong greet with bitter smile.

“Wow... what a long time not to see you personally... how do you do?” Daniel asked with smiles.

“I’m okay… ” Jiyong replied shortly.

“Great… so, how's work? I heard you had been pull out from CEO candidate...isn't sad?” Daniel asked sarcastic.

Jiyong nodded with fake smiles.

“Yeah...but, it's not too sad... I still can fight it another time...” Jiyong replied calmly.

“Is it? You still think that position? Wow... it's not shame for you to chase it?” Daniel asked sarcastic.

“Why not? Don't you think I have that right? After all, I'm still the heir, right? It's not like you who like to usurp people's rights...” Jiyong replied with sarcastic.

Daniel face changed after Jiyong said that.

At that moment, Taeyeon arrive at the hotel. When she enters the entrance, he can notice Jiyong with somebody at the lobby. Taeyeon saw Jiyong uneasy face when talking to the guy. Then, she slowly walks toward Jiyong.

“What are you saying?” Daniel asked with irate.

“What? I'm just saying the fact... don't you agree with me?” Jiyong asked with smirks.

Daniel smirks after Jiyong said that and then he reply

“You know, you're the one that make the mistake here... you're the one that let her go!”

“Yeah... you can think that way to defend yourself... but, you think I don't know the truth? Come on, Daniel!  Just admit that you always envy me, that's why what I have, you want it too... including her...” Jiyong said to blurt out the truth.

Daniel clenched his fists to hold back anger.

“It's look like you still not move on from her.” Daniel suddenly said with smirks.

Jiyong chuckles after he heard that.

“Nope... I have already done with her five years ago... the one that can't move on, it's you and her! So, please... get away from my life and never show our face in front of me again. You two make me feel sick...” Jiyong replied with upset.

Daniel chuckles after Jiyong said that.

“Yah! You think I didn't know your plan? I know you're still ongoing with your five-star hotel project... I heard it from Mr. Han.” Suddenly Daniel blurts out the truth.

Jiyong startled after he said that, so do Taeyeon that eavesdropping on their conversation behind the pillar.

“What did you hear?” Jiyong asked with uneasy.

Daniel smirks after he saw Jiyong uneasy face.

“I don't know... why don't you tell me... or... should we tell your future wife too?” Daniel asked with sarcastic.

“Don't you dare to say anything!” Jiyong said to warn him.

Taeyeon start to feel uneasy after Jiyong respond like that.

“Wait? Why not? She should know before her place torn down... right?” Daniel asked with sarcastic giggling.

“I don't know what you have heard, but... if you dare to intervene, the consequences are dire...” Jiyong said with firm.

“Wow... how scared I am... no worry... I won't... but, with condition...” Daniel suddenly said.

“What?” Jiyong asked.

“Persuade your future wife to cooperate with Catherine...she's told me that your fiancé refused her offer... so... I think you know what you should do...” Daniel replied with smirks.

“No... I'm not doing that... if she's decided to refused, it's her right... I won't do anything to change her decision.” Jiyong replied with firm.

“Then, you know the consequence...” Daniel said with smirks.

Suddenly, Taeyeon come out come out beside the pillar and calls Jiyong.

“Jiyong!” Taeyeon calls his name.

Both of them startled after saw Taeyeon presence there.

“Taeyeon…” Jiyong muttered after he saw her.

Taeyeon approach Jiyong with tense face.

“Answer me... it's true, you still want to build that hotel?” Taeyeon asked with firm.

“Dear…” Jiyong said while try to hold her arm.

“No! Answer me first!” Taeyeon replied while she brushes Jiyong hand away.

Jiyong look at her with uneasy and then he looks down, nodded to answer her.

“Yes… it’s true…” Jiyong said slowly.

Daniel that still stand there smirks after he saw both of them.

Taeyeon look at Jiyong with disappointed and then her eyes start to get teary.

“… but let me explain first…” Jiyong said while try to hold Taeyeon arm.

Taeyeon keep brushes Jiyong hand from touching her.

“I don't know how to feel right now... it's look like... we should call off the wedding...” Taeyeon said with frustrated.

Jiyong startled after he heard Taeyeon said that.

Afterward, Taeyeon walks away from there while crying. Jiyong sigh before he went to chase her.

“Aigoo… Jiyong, you're always in bad luck...” Daniel muttered while looking at Jiyong.

Jiyong continue to chase Taeyeon until outside the hotel. He tries to stop her by grabbing her arm tight.

“Let me go!” Taeyeon said with furious.

“No… please, let me explain first…” Jiyong replied while still hold Taeyeon arm tightly.

“What do you want to say now? You admit that you want to build the hotel... so, what you want to say?” Taeyeon asked furiously while try to release her arm from Jiyong grip.

“Yes, I admit that… but you have to know the truth…” Jiyong replied with firm.

“What? The truth that will make me hurt? Why I have to listen to it?” Taeyeon asked furiously.

Jiyong start to lose his patience after Taeyeon didn't want to let him explain.

“Dear, please… listen to me first…” Jiyong said while try to appeal.

“Why I have…” Taeyeon said but before she could finish her words, Jiyong pull her and kiss her lips.

Taeyeon didn't push or act anything after Jiyong kiss her. The kiss stay for long until Jiyong can sense Taeyeon getting calm. Then, he released the kiss and stares at Taeyeon eyes deeply.

“Can you listen what I want to say now?” Jiyong asked softly while his hands hold Taeyeon face.

With her teary eyes, Taeyeon nodded to answer him.
