Title:Demons Have Two Sides

Summary:  For the last three years, a serial murderer nicknamed the Demon has been haunting the streets of Seoul. All this time it's been Detective Kim Sunggyu's mission to capture this man, however, when he actually has the murder within his grasp things turn out more complicated than he could have ever imagined.

Plop-plop. The blood dripped from his fingers, with a cold gaze he looked at his work. Blood splattered the room in rust colored streaks, he felt nothing. Her body was torn and shredded like a beast, no a demon, had grasped a delicate fairy and destroyed it. He reached out to touch her face when WHEEEEEE-whooo of a siren alerted him. With a small regret, the Demon escaped the down the nearby alley.

Detective Kim Sunggyu came to the scene moments after. Yellow tape covered the whole area; he stepped under it to a horrendous sight.  Blood was sprayed cross the walls in slick blobs of scarlet tears. The smell of iron hit him like a brick wall. The poor woman was split open, guts slipped out, with ripped out.  Her face, once must have been lovely was twist in a grimace. In the mist of this horror her heart was untouched bleed empty but perfectly in place.

“Demon…” the forensic crime scene expert groan, “may her soul rest in peace.”

“It’s him?” the detective whispered still upset over this death.

“Yes that Demon did this his signature here isn’t it? He really knows how to care for a heart,” he joked pointing the heart within her chest.

Sunggyu groaned at the morbid joke then slipped on latex gloves. Carefully he bent his knees not to touch the evidence. His stomach lurched this man was extremely cruel torturing his victims to this point. Sunggyu vowed to catch this man three years ago when he first popped up; however, the Demon always seemed one step ahead of him.

“Sunggyu,” the chief of police tapped his shoulder. “Take a rest you’ve been working too hard to find this creep.”

Nodding Sunggyu trudged off, he knew that he had to get a breather and look at the cases from a different perspective.

Dongwoo tilted back in his seat playing with a straw wondering where his hyung was. Glancing out the window he saw Sunggyu walk up with distraught features. Slinking into the Sunggyu ordered a cup of black coffee.

Watching Sunggyu, Dongwoo instantly Sunggyu was troubled since his hyung only ordered black coffee when he was trying to focus with consideration he asked, “What’s wrong?”

“Nothing,” he answered roughly.

Demon than, Dongwoo concluded, remembering this exact sequence of reactions following a murder.  A splatter of scarlet… Dongwoo pushed whatever random thought popping into his away.

“Who was she?” He pushed Sunggyu lightly in sober tone.

“An idol… Sohee, I think,” Sunggyu sighed dropping his face into his palm.

After their short talk Dongwoo had lost his appetite. Bile rose in the thoughts of what happened to that girl. Sohee, his cousin was a fan of her he remembered.

Suddenly like a truck racing towards his head he remembered. Blood the color of rogue and screams so frighten but clear. Her feet tapping against the….. NO! Dongwoo silently begged pushing the thoughts away. Please wait until I’m far from Sunggyu hyung.

Dongwoo’s usual gay features hardened into strict lines. On both sides of the table the two boys were grim.
