1. Go to: http://www.dafont.com/
(Click here for more font websites provided by GIMP Innovations.)

2. Find a font you like.

3. Click on the 'Download' button 

4. Scroll to the bottom of your laptop where usually Safari, GIMP, etc. Click where your 'Downloads' section is which is usually on the farther right. Or, you can click on your 'Download' section in your folder and type in the font name and open it.

5. Once open, there are multiple files in your download. Click on the file that ends with ' .ttf ' and a window like this should pop up:

Click open.

6. After opening, you should see this, and then click 'Install Font.'

7. It should now be in your 'Font Book' and you can now open up your GIMP and enjoy your new fonts! (:
