Chapter 1: oh this one is the very beautiful full of metaphors one, idk, i mean you always write beautifully and with these metaphors that just floor me and hit me in the face with how wonderful they are and im like "my god you just WROTE that? like that?" and yeah. anyways i always have a soft spot for real-life au wenrene fics because when you see their moments written out, it just hits different. seungwan tricking herself into thinking she's a spy, that's why she wants to know more about joohyun, that's why she's always gravitating towards her, that's just such a dorky and cute and stupidly seungwan thing to do ugh. and the reoccurring moon metaphor UGH seungwan being the moon but joohyun has claimed her, and yet, and yet we seekers know who tends to be referred to as the moon in wenrene, the one whose favorite word in Japanese is "good night." and then they kiss and then they fight and. the inevitable push pull of idol life, of wanting what you can't have, like the way the moon pushes on the sea knowing they'll never meet, that kinda poetry. (and knowing that these two, too, love the sky and the moon and the sea and the ocean. even if they can't swim. these lovable idiots.) but yeah. wenrene pushin and pullin. unironically i wanted them to perform it in their concert because sometimes they really do act that way, or rather. irene makes it so obvious, that something's wrong lol, her face cannot lie. wendy's better at the acting, at the smiling. but irene will let everyone know otherwise. i'm just happy they seem better now?!??! all these weeks later.
