In Another Life

Description

Where Hyukjae had his whole life planned out but meets Donghae, the guy who almost ruined his plans. Alternatively, a life where Hyukjae clumsily and unexpectedly falls in love with his newly found best friend.

Foreword

While watching that clip of DH saying "let's be together until we die" during EH's birthday, this plot suddenly came to me. I don't know how to write a good story but I still want to write this. While it totally came from my imagination, I am aware that ideas are not that original hehehe so there might already be stories with a similar plot (if yes, kindly share them with me so I can read them as well).

Due to my short attention span and fixation issues, I'm not sure until where I will be able to write but I will do my best to finish this. Also, this is going to be a romance theme story with a weird/different setting so you can just imagine anything like for example, there could be flying cars in the story but it does not necessarily mean that the setting is 3035, it could still be 2023 (that's just a sample) same goes with the country of setting, it could be anywhere.

Anyways, I'm unsure if people still read eunhae stories on this site (or am I the only one now?) but even if no one reads this, I will still write it.

Chapter 3: Huhu, Donghae appears again like a scene from a painting, then as his hero. Hyuk is screwed. Wonder how long until he stops trying to resist his fate. Also wonder if Donghae is having the same weird dreams, presumably of a shared past life... They haven't really talked yet. If only Hyukjae was a bit flirty, there was the opportunity for the most classic pickup line/pun, "You look like the man of my dreams." Oh well, cheering him on for the future. 😅

Chapter 2: Leeteuk is such a good hyung! Ah Hyukkie, it's good to be studious and all, but people can still have fun too. Socialize. Even have relationships... Mind blowing, I know haha. Anyway yes, keep casually observing how handsome, attractive, and annoying that guy is. No reason of course. 😌

Chapter 1: Gotta love when the realist/romance cynic gets blindsided by this kind of "destined" thing. Sure, it would never happen in real life, or to you, cue universe to prove you wrong! Hahaha.

Or, in Hyukjae's case, cue Donghae. 🤭
