Prologue
Irreplaceable [MAJOR EDITING]Dasom has always dreamt of being the most beautiful bride.
Since she was young, she browsed through a number of magazines and checked out various bridal gown designs. Because of it, Dasom's parents actually thought that she'd like to be a designer someday but truth be told, she just wanted to be the smiling girl wearing the most breathtaking gown to ever exist.
Dasom remembers the time when she was about to enter college. It was the time when her older sister, Hyunseo, tied the knot with her high school sweetheart, making her a bit envious because of how she looked like Aphrodite at her wedding. It's not that she does not have any sort of dreams after finishing her undergraduate degree. Being born into a family managing a private bank prompted Dasom to not dream big since everything has already been provided to her since birth. She did not want to be greedy like people who were absorbed too much in their capitalistic ways. She just wanted to live a good, peaceful life with a loving husband and children. That's her ultimate dream.
That was why she did not wonder why her parents favor her older sister over her. According to them, she's more childish, immature, self-serving, and too naive for her own good as compared to her sister. But no matter how much scrutiny Dasom received from her parents and other people around them, she never took it against her sister. She loves her sister with all of her heart. Sometimes, even more than her own life.
That was why she couldn't help to bawl her eyes out when she steps inside the bride's waiting room, finding her sister in an exquisite wedding gown with her hair styled up in a bun and her face donned with makeup that enhanced her sharp features.
Hyunseo chuckles at the sight of her teary-eyed younger sister, who remained standing at the do
