The story follows Mina, a young woman who has resigned herself to a solitary and cold existence due to her life-threatening heart condition. Despite her efforts to avoid connections with others, a glimmer of hope intervenes in the form of Chaeyoung, a cheerful and lively young girl who captivates Mina's heart. Knowing that her time is limited and that fate has been a cruel companion, Mina tries her best not to burden Chaeyoung with her impending death, but finds herself falling deeper in love with her nonetheless.
