"Winter, can I ask you something?"

Kung inaakala niyo na may something worth daydreaming about dyan sa tanong ni Karina, well nagkakamali kayo. Hindi naman kayo (read: pati ako) chinese pero bakit ang hilig niyo humopia? Emi. 

Lumapit lang sa'kin si Karina to ask my input about her progress du'n sa Project. Sabi niya kasi masyado raw technical for her 'yung SOP na ginawa ko and mas makakakilos daw siya nang mabilis kung dinedemo sa kanya.

Nagtaka lang ako bakit hinihingi niya pa 'yung tulong ko eh nakita ko sa e-mail kanina na good as approved naman na 'yung presentation niya. Weird lang, pero kebs. Minsan lang tayo tumulong sa mga artistahin nating katrabaho so why not, diba?

"Ah so basically wala naman pala halos binago du'n sa 0.1? Medyo nalito lang kasi ako du'n sa wordings nang slight." She smiled a little and bit her lip.

Huy ate bakit may paganyan!

"Yeah.. yeah, you can say that. Erm-" I coughed, "If you want I can ask Ning to help me revise the SOPs? I guess medyo technical nga siya."

"Why Ning though?"

Ha?

I looked at her, lost. "Uhm kasi she was the one who helped me compose these SOPs? And actually mas maalam siya dito compared sa'kin.."

"Hmm," Karina side eyed Ning, suddenly interested.

"Since when pa kayo magka-team ni Ning? I mean I know you guys came later than Gi, but I never really asked about your tenure here."

Ay HR interview pala 'to. Saan po ipapasa ang resumé, char.

"I joined the company two years ago." I answered eventually, smiling from the memory. "Same batch kami ni Ning, same din kami ng training instructor which was Giselle."

She looked at me, telling me to continue. "Actually there were six of us however sa ibang department napunta 'yung apat, whereas kami ina-absorb ng Team ni Giselle. I don't know what she's seen in us, sa totoo lang. Considering  Management Trainee pa lang siya nu'n."

"Well Giselle knows her people eversince." Karina chuckled. 
 

Eversince? Does she have a history with Giselle? Uy chismis 'to ah. Kems.

"Are you surprised?" Karina looked at me, as if reading my mind.

"About?"

"Me, knowing Giselle."

"No naman. I know her din naman eh." I joked.

"Silly," Karina laughed. "Well I guess if you want to know, Giselle was the one who interviewed me."

Oh.

"Sa Taguig pa ako nu'n, siguro five years ago na? Anyway, after Training, gusto niya ako kunin kaso naunahan siya ni Somi, former boss ko. And since Giselle is based here sa QC, she didn't have a choice but to let me go."

Oh. Under din pala siya kay Boss Somi before.

"Ayun, nakakatuwa lang kasi even though sa Taguig ako nag-rereport, Giselle kept on contact with me. Long story short, nung nagkaroon ng opening dito sa QC, I immediately went for it."
